Women will stay with men who are verbally abusive, physically abusive, not responsible, and are cheaters, and we ladies are made to feel like low life our whole lives. No wonder there is so much low self-esteem, drug addiction, alcohol abuse, and suicide in our community. When you are told you are a pervert and no good your whole life you end up believing it.

Looking on this forum I see smart, responsible, articulate, and good people. What more do you want in a partner in life? Is that not enough? Life is not perfect nor are any of us. That's life.

Thanks Jeannie! Today, You rock! This is precisely why my wife declared "For crying out loud - It's just clothing!".

This too is a double-edged sword. She tried participating in another forum for SOs. She got tired of the constant whining by people who didn't seem able to understand that this is just clothing. So my dear wife stopped participating.

I will admit that "this" may be a little more than just clothing, but when compared with adultery and violence, I ask "Who is the victim of crossdressing?", and "Who would rather be a victim of adultery or violence than be a victim of crossdressing?"

Carol Ann, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hijack your thread. Maybe your SO has no interest in firearms, or antique airplanes, or wild native reptiles? Could you develop an interest and then visit another city under such a guise?
