Jamie Ann.
Thank you for a very well written and informative post.
Sally.
It is interesting you should post that at this time. I have recently been reflecting on how I used to try and over compensate to hide the fact that I was not perfect.
I think the reason people act the way you have described is that they believe (probably subconsciously) the more they are able to appear the opposite of who they are the more unlikely they will be discovered.
And that changed for me when I finally accepted the fact that I am gender gifted and will continue to cross-dress for the rest of my life. (as long as it is possible for me to do that.) Just one of life's harsh realities, in spite of the masks we all like to wear.
That is one of the blessings of coming out of the closet, and that separates us from a lot of people who don't have an issue in there lives as big as ours that forces some of us to realize that it is impossible for any one to be perfect.
That illustrates that it is dangerous to stay deep in the closet.

Hi Kirsti,
That was a great story!!!
Congrats on having a great outing!
It's also very nice that two teenage girls did the opposite of what two other teenage girls did to another of our board faithful. It's good to know it's the person, not the age that influences behavior.
Again, thanks for sharing that story with us!
