Dragula

At work we were encouraged to come to work in costume for Halloween. This was many years ago. I had never been around other people while dressed. This sounded like a great oppertunity. So I wouldn't be to obvious I decided to come as Dragula. I bought a long witch's wig, fangs and white grease paint. The only other item I had to buy was shoes. I went to Payless where a young SA was very helpful. She even provided footies for me to try on shoes. I finially had to settle for a pair of white slip on sandals because of my large feet.
My SO left for work earlier then me so after she went to work I dressed in a poly floral print blue skirt, white man's long sleeve shirt, bra, panties, 18 hr. girdle, and panty hose. I painted my face white, blue eye shadow, and red lipstick. And of course the wig, fangs and shoes. I had a red purse as well. I was really nervous leaving the house and driving to work in the day time even in costume.
As luck would have it I needed gas before I got to work and the only gas station was a redneck one where I had to go inside to pay. Got strange looks but I joked thru it with butterflies in my stomach.
Arrived at work and recieved lots of compliments and remarks on how naturally I wore my clothes
Had to use the rest room and recieved some strange looks as I came out of the stall until they saw my face. Maybe it was nylon clad legs and sandals in the stall.
It happened to be payday and I had to go to the bank to deposit my check. No problem I thought, there was a drive-thru. Well I dropped the container and had to get out of the car and reach under it for the tube. Of course all of the lanes were stacked up and I had a large audience.
It was a long day but I enjoyed every minute of it, all the while wishing I could have dispensed with the costume and presented my fem self. Oh, by the way I won first prize. Maybe it was the hairy legs.

I did something similar a couple of times on Halloween but without fangs and blood. The date makes everything sort of okay around here. A man at the gas station even took my picture. However it was a big mistake to walk in the woods near a local school-someone got spooked and called the police. The police were pleasant but thorough.......
