Moisturizer

Post by Carol Ann »

Well as all things in life a good thing comes to an end, I have purchased this face moisturizer from Wal-Mart for 4 years and I loved it. BUT now Wally world doesn't carry the product anymore. ***huh***

So now I come to all my friends on this forum for help, what do you use as a daily face moisturizer for that beautiful look?

Could you tell us a little more about that moisturizer that Walmart used to carry?

Also, what kind of skin do you have? Dry, oily, or combo?

I have dry skin.

For quite a while I used the Walmart version of Olay Complete SPF 15. I remember that once Walmart didn't have any on the shelf, so I used the real Olay Complete, but when that ran out, the Walmart equivalent was back.

I have also used Jergens Skin Smoothing body lotion on my face - it has alpha hydroxy and wasn't that expensive. I still use it on my arms, legs, and feet.

I also read on this forum about Danielle La Belle using Garnier Fructis fortifying deep conditioner 3 minute masque for hair on her face as a makeup prep. At the time, I had a coupon so it wasn't expensive, so I tried it, and it felt nice.

I'm currently using the cleanser and moisturizer from the Mary Kay Timewise line, and think they are quality products.

I'm also clipping coupons for other products, but haven't looked that closely yet for some other name brands to try.

Jadeanne,

The lotion I got from wal-mart was under their brand name "equate" face lotion and it contained SPF 15 daily multi-vitamin facial treatment.
I too have very dry skin and it really helped. (--)

Carol Ann,

I just pulled out my 6 ounce white plastic bottle of Equate lotion and the label on the the back has "Antioxidant Vitamin E plus C" and "SPF 15" listed, so it may the same as your favorite.

This has a flip open lid, but I remember sometimes it came with a pump top.

The front label reads:

"Equate Complete Beauty Lotion SPF 15 Sunscreen"

It's a lower price clone of Olay Complete SPF 15 lotion. I remember seeing them side by side on the Walmart shelf.

Are there any drug stores in the same area? They may carry a store brand equivalent.

i like using Jergens. It suits my face and body really well. I get mine at ulta and it's totally affordable, especially with these ULTA COUPONS. :)

I use Simple hydrating light moisturiser, it has no perfume too. It seems to work for me.
