Tri-Ess meeting Saturday

Post by Virginia »

Saturday was, to say the least, an emotional day for me. I delivered a brief statement at "Ms. B's" memorial service. I was first after her husband. During his, his, his well whatever you want to call it, mostly thanking people, anyway within the first five minutes he -- well its a long story, but Ms. B's sister stood up and stormed out trailed by her husband, grand-daughter and son. It was quite a scene!!!!!

I made my brief remarks and SL and I walked out and went directly to the hotel where the LBR/TriEss meeting was being held. I was pretty much drained, emotional and initially decided to not even change (suit and tie for the memorial service). If Virginia had walked into the funeral home, well no one would have recognized her, that is until she would have gotten up to give her male alter-ego's memorial and I guess that the funeral home would have had a lot more immediate business than they expected! :P

Anyway, I did change and we had a great dinner then, those of you who follow NASCAR, well they were racing in Martinsville, VA this week-end. Martinsville is about 35 miles south of Roanoke and the hotels fill up here for that race and this one was full of - no offense to anyone- but a redneck is a redneck is a redneck, and well, we just had to go to the bar!!!

Think about it, six TG/CD's, two dressed in Halloween costumes, we go walking into this Holiday Inn bar, standing room only full of 'race fans!"
Well we get and "A++" for guts!!!!! And one of the girls who is a member of this forum, but does not post much, but she is gorgeous, had on a bright yellow flowered bustier with garters, hose and heels (she did not wear the wings she had as she was with the wings a butterfly). Talk about some looks and wide-eyed rednecks! It was interesting to say the least. The only spot we could find was right up front where the karaoke was going on along with the dance floor. I don't mean to cast dispersions on anyone, but .......................... there were some ugly women there and we weren't none of them!!!!

Actually a couple of the "racefan" women came up and talked to us and all were quite taken with our "butterfly" girl!!!! Then one of her garters broke but she took it like a lady and did quite well with her "wardrobe" malfunction."

So, if we can survive that, any of you in the closet, come on out the water's fine!!!!!

Love, (and glad I did not have to hurt nobody)
