Breast Forms - Should I buy?
I am thinking of ordering breast forms tonight. I've been using foam breasts put I ripped them the other night and I feel lost with out them. I 'm trying to decide between buying new foam or silicone. I've found an okay pair of silicone for around $70 on ebay.
Now I wish I hadn't spent so much cloths shopping yesterday. lol
I would go back to foam, but I would only get about $20 off the price and I would be afraid of ripping them again. Plus I would like to feel the weight of them on my own breasts.
I've seen self adhesive and those that need a skin adhesive. I don't know what to do there.
I've been wearing a small size B and I think it's just a little too small. I bought them because they said B/C but it turned out that was for 34/36 chests and I have a 38 chest so they are more like an A/B.
I'm 5'9'' - 170 lb – about a 38'' chest 35/36 waist but I ware a corset or bind my waist when I'm dressed. It brings me down to 33/34 and I have 40” shoulders in men’s suites.
So here are my questions. Silicone or foam?
I've looked at sizes 6,7 & 8. B/C/D. I want a little more size then I had with the A/B foam I have now. But I'm not sure which size would work best. I was thinking going up to a real C but I'm afraid that might be to big but I think because of my shoulders I could pull it off.
Advice?

TrueKare makes nice, reasonably priced self-adhesive forms that I've been very pleased with and wouldn't hesitate to recommend. I wear a pair of size 6s every day. I'm about the same height and shoulder breadth as you, and on me they're a pretty generous B cup; under anything but really baggy clothing they're impossible to miss. I'd be cautious about an 8 or above for you if believability is a concern!

Hi Lily,
I bought a pair from The Breast Form Store last Sept. I got a 9. I am 5'10 and about 200lbs and they are nice on. I could easily go to a size 8 but I am happy as I do not go out. They fill up my 44C Bra's and well I think they are wonderful. I happen to have them on now as I am fully dressed for the first time!! ( Makeup too.) I bet I look hideous as I have never worn makeup before. Enough rambling. I do think an 8 or 7 from the Breast Form Store will work for you. Let me know what you decide on.
Good Luck

That's just what I'm worried about. They are going to be with me a while. I don't want to buy the wrong ones. But the foam B's seem just a little to small. I put on a costume the other night and my SO came home. She didn't say much except that I need more boob to fill it out. Then she went into the other room and didn't say anything until I changed. I'm hoping a C is the right way to go but I just don't know.

Hi Lily,
You may want to consider calling the Breast Form Store and talking to them. don't worry, "we" are their primary clientel and they are very helpful.
On a personal note, just remember, you don't want your breasts to enter a room 15 seconds before you do. I'd stick with no more than a "C" at your height and weight. Bigger girls can carry off the larger forms. If you can,
just revert to a male frame of mind and when you look at a woman -- well, you get the idea?!
What Carol Ann said too, you get what you pay for!

The silcone forms have a weight consistent with the weight of human flesh and thus drape better than the foam which is too light. You don't need the adhesive if the bra fits right unless it's too low cut.
I got truekares with a slight imperfection (no idea what it was) and I've been very happy with them. One word of advice. Since most men have some breast tissue, you may want to go down a size or maybe even two sizes from what their charts suggest. I found that my 42 B turned into a D with my pecs, which are fairly well developed.
Talking with the sales people, either on the phone, or online, will probably be very helpful. If you go to an actual store call ahead. They may want you to come in at an odd hour as many of the physical stores, as opposed to the online stores, cater to women with masectomys, and they are sometimes very uncomfortable about everything involved in the whole situation, even without some man buying forms at the same time.

Thank you everyone. I called a help line for one of the adds I was reading. Then I read some reviews on the people selling the forms I was looking for and they had a good following.
I found a set on ebay that hadn't bin bid on yet. At least not very high. I bid on them for $26. and won With $13 shipping. I got them for 39 bucks. I couldn't pass it up. I guess I'll get to try a C cup.
I'll let you know how they are when I get them next week.
