Im into stuff that primarily has a male audience, like video games, and when I go to forums for these and end up talking to such there are times when you get to talk to individuals more often and end up being friends with them, or so one thinks.

And thing is, once they find out that youre not a woman biologically, they literally just stop talking to you completely. I once thought this was mostly just kids but even adults act the same way.

Im not saying theyre all like that, im just saying almost all of them that were once friends, stopped being so once I tell them im not a woman.

Honestly, I have no intention of having a romantic relationship with them so im not really hurt coz of that. Its just disappointing trying to be a friend to someone and just for some... trivial, miniscule and supposedly irrelevant thing??? em...

Sorry, my first thread and im just whinning but who else can I talk to about this who can...

Well, welcome to the forum, and now you've posted.

Other members of this forum have had experiences like yours, so I hope that you hear from them. I've not done gaming on the Internet, only forums and yahoo groups.

It's too bad that they cut all contact, but I understand the feeling. The groups I'm on have all been upset at times when someone posed as someone they were not. Gender is very important to all cultures, and if you're role-playing the other gender, it can get into deep waters. You may not have romantic intentions, but some of your online friends may have had romantic feelings about YOU, the woman they thought they were communicating with.

You may also be running into the same-sex phobia that men can exhibit so strongly.

The only other forums I participate in, besides gender ones, are hobby forums. I'm my guy self on those.

So, on the games forums, how do the guys find out you aren't a woman? I'm guessing you tell them, but why?

Interesting post.

I've had a couple of women be surprised when they discover I am male. One of them told me recently I am beautiful (I think in the feminine sense of the word, but definitly not the physical sense) no matter what gender I am.

Then again I have wierd friends. That's a compliment.....

Well its usually in forums and people I guess assume I was a woman coz I say things like I bought heels today or for some reason I know a few things about makeup or whatever.

I never claimed I was one though. And I mean comeon... its the internet you shouldnt assume things so easily in the first place, I mean esp gender.

I usually tell them when things get a bit weird, as in you know a bit sweet for friendship then it always just takes less than 2 days.... and poof. I tell because I do not want to be unfair, I mean obviously at that point it becomes a bit clear whats on their mind

For some reason the more I deal with men the more negative I see them... I used to be a normal plain guy too and hanged out with normal men and... I have to say theyre well like pigs at times or worse, its jsut different coz their negative crap is not directed towards you but towards others of the other gender. But now... its, in a few words it just sucks having plain men around, though I wish it werent so.

And again im not saying all just the types that I think youre familiar with

LoL i used to pretend to be a guy on chat rooms and forums all the time for the rush was awesome! guys way less interested in talking to you. chicks are but way cautious.
women are really really easy to ahve wraped aroound your little finger i realised. omg no wonder they get so easily groomed . i ahd one girl totally into me even though she knew i ahd a partner and no intention of dating her very very funny.
Things that get women to stop talking to you if they know you are a chick who likes chicks. men is they think you are a man who likes men. oh men if you are a chick who only likes chicks XD.
I dunno people are bizarre.
I do love messing with people and finding out what kind of person they really are.

I guess most often I can actually guess what people are gonna be like by the patterns they make but... I still want to believe otherwise and go against logic. but oh well, i gave it a chance so to hell with the thought hohooho

I remember the packaging of the game but nah not yet.

I dont know about persia games, im not good at those sorta games. I ended up with assassins creeds when it was like on mega sale liek $5 i think and i dont know... i suck, I suck badly its not fun dying hohohohoho.

for now im jsut playing tropico and abusing my tropicans...

ah yeah I wasn't that fond of assasins creed i don't know it just didn't ahve the right atmosphere to it. Hey what are your top 5 games?
You got xbox 360 or ps3? my partner has both now bloody ridiculous games are gonna mean we can't pay rent lol. but great way to blow off stream and very relaxing.
I really liked dragonage origins. I liked oblivion too but it just got fiddly and i lost interest but i love those big epic fantasy ones with big main quests lots of extra ones, you control decisions of character and big map. I also love that they had actors from start trek doing voices in DAO

well i cant really think of which are the best but fallout, new one, was alright with me seriously and I guess that would be it for the best game. ODD enough though, I was never able to finish it...

At the moment im jsut playing sol survivor, for $9 its em a lot of fun for me...

I only buy playstation, I dont know, ever since ps1 came out I never got any other brand - I prefer sticking to one I guess. Oh yakuza 3 for ps3 was fun... that part where the protagonist was crying like a girl when rikia? was shot to death uh... oh my god hohohohohohoho the dragon of dojima and the most badass yakuza screaming in tears hohohohoh

have you tried fallen earth? its a wasteland themed mmorpg where you can create almost everything from a salad to a bike to a rifle.

fallout vegas is coming out in a few more months i think.

til then i think ill watch anime for a while, which i havent done for a while now.

what else do you usually do aside from video games?
