Also: Silver lady I do not ever remember putting a pass word in my account. I have a book I put my pass words in. I don't have it in their. I use the book because I am human and I forget once in a while. In fact I forget because I am getting older. If you can help me I would be very greatful. Thank you and God Bless. Rebecca Debra

Internet company is changing their address? - Answered
Dear Silver lady, My internet company is changing their address and Donna T. told me I can not change my internet adress here? The internet company will only forward my e mail for 30 days and then If people sending me email have not changed the address they will not forward it? What am I supposed to do?

As mentioned in the other thread, you cannot change your email address on your own. Silverlady will do it for you. Just send her a PM with your new information. Any attempt to change it on your own will cause you to lock yourself out.You can certainly change your email address in your profile - just click on the "Profile" link near the top of he page, but you will need your password to do so.

If you can't remember your password? You should be able to do the following:
- 1) Save these instructions somewhere safe before you start, or print them out
- 2) Write down the user name and email address from your profile
- 3) Click "Log out" near the top of the page
- 4) Click "Log in" which has now replaced "Log out"
- 5) Click on "I forgot my password" below the user name / password fields
- 6) Fill out your user name and email address, and a new password will be mailed to you

Hi, Kimberly and Donna - I thank you all for your assistance, I truly appreciate it!!
Rebecca -
You have posted about this (and related topics) earlier, here: http://crossdressers-haven.com/forums/v ... hp?t=12772
and here: http://crossdressers-haven.com/forums/v ... hp?t=12854
So, let me state once again:
1. Email addresses and Internet Protocol (IP) addresses are not the same thing.
2. Members cannot change their email address on their own, they must contact me via PM with their new address and I will change it for them. http://crossdressers-haven.com/forums/v ... php?t=9237
3. You do not need to update your Internet Protocol (IP) address in the event you are changing Internet Service Providers (ISPs), even if the change is due to moving. Members can access the Forum from almost anywhere in the world; as long as your email address does not change you will be able to access your account here.
4. All passwords are encrypted and I am unable to retrieve them for you. If you don't remember your password, while at the Log In screen enter your user name and click on the "forgot password" button. The forum will send you an email with a temporary password and instructions for use; the instructions must be followed!! Once you have successfully logged in with the temporary password, you must change your password in your Profile (make sure you write it down!!) and click 'Submit' found at the bottom of the page.
5. To date, I have yet to receive a PM from Rebecca informing me of her new email address. Whatever you do, do not inform me of your new email address via a post in the open Forum . . . you'll be subjecting yourself to tons of spam.
Again, all these topics have been previously addressed in the Announcements and Ask Us sections, in the form of Announcements by the Site Administrator, as well as topics by members (such as this one). If anyone has questions on how-to's for the Forum, they are urged to read these areas first because chances are extremely good the question has already been answered! http://crossdressers-haven.com/forums/v ... hp?t=10059
Again, I thank everyone who has responded to Rebecca's multiple topics on this subject.
If anyone has any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact me directly via PM.
Thank you!!
