Hi Donna, I think it's helpful. He noted that women have so many clothing options but men have Pants or shorts, a suit while women have skirts, dresses, shorts, pants etc.... I believe crossdressing will eventually be accepted. Men can have long hair, they can pierce their ears, there is some make-up for men, there are briefs which are almost identical to panties, some men shave their legs, wear nail polish, and cologne. People are aware of the term transgender and some may acknowledge that there are genetic and environmental factors involved. Crossdressing is portrayed in movies, and there are more articles in magazines and papers. More people also know the term LGBT.
Now, I believe the look these men are sporting will be taken not as metrosexual but as gay. Personally I believe it's a feminine touch of course and looks better on women (including women like us). It is kind of a shocker and certainly would have a limited territory of acceptance like large cosmopolitan areas which are much more open to high fashion. But - my son wears black nail polish on his hands frequently, has ear rings, and studs on each side of his lower lip, eye liner, and long emo type hair - but he is a talented guitar player like my other son - they have a band. I have to open up and stop being hipocritical because he is a good kid and lots of people tell me the same thing, I did tell him I am transgendered and crossdress and we have a better relationship now I believe.
It might be a look to try though though I think their expensive hooves are UGLY! they should choose heels that are pretty and feminine and not so avant guard, edgy and aggressive - I believe they are a fashion faux pas, that if corrected to normal feminine foot wear would look better - and they also need to shave their legs at least to the knee if they are going to sport the look. This is wonderful for those with a shoe fetish! Ha! Oh, and men can wear nail colors other than black! how boring! (hum...I'm being naturally flamboyant and lighthearted laughing inside, even instinctively smoothed my skirts under me (without even thinking about it and caught myself!) while sitting down then remembered I was in womens flaired jeans and wedges with my metallic pink nails) - what about clear, french tips, red, metallic pink and so forth - now that would be avant guard!
Huh - I am just being myself, no false falsettos for me - I never playact when dressed - I guess I am just being playful, and some habits become habitual so I better be careful or I might be noticed smoothing phantom skirts in public without realizing what I am even doing! I also wonder if I am becomming "flamboyant" and not realizing it, my mother did tell me a month or so before she died that I had a slight lisp - did she know something? Do I lisp? I don't think so - perhaps I do? But I do know that I am heterosexual - women excite me not men one of those contradictions.

As I said many times I wear lite pink nail polish on fingers and toes. Ears are triple pierced and I wear fancy studs, hoops, and small danglies. all the time Legs, arms and chest shaved (will be again after this Halloween)and I run around in just shorts most of the time. In cooler weather I wear women's high heeled boots or woman's loafers with my jeans. I really can't imagine wearing a nice pair of heels in drab.
I believe I was a lesbian in my past life
