Matter of fact.

Post by Anne Bonny »

I am so comfortable dressing now that it has become simply an option available to me as much as a t shirt and a pair of shorts and deck shoes around the house.

Many women will say "You want to wear a dress? Wear one!" what they are saying is quite cut and dried, a simple matter of fact to them leaving it right there for us.

My grooming, doing my make up and fixing my hair and putting on a dress around the house has become...well a clothing option. I mean the windows are wide open, I take out the trash, get the mail, do what I would do every single day only I happen to be wearing a dress because it's what I wanted to wear this morning and that's it!

I mean at one time no woman was allowed to wear pants but in the 19th century, gradually here and there cross into the 20th century and on into the 20's, 30's, then especially much much more on into the 50's until parity really from then on with men. We think women can wear anything, they can and the do but it took a while.

Well here we are into the 21st century and we are probably like the women back around the 20's or before. with the rise of LGBT the public is much more aware we are out here, it is well known that many men want to and do wear dresses and other feminine clothing along with all the make up and jewelry if they desire. Our right to be who we are is being widely recognized all over the country.

So for myself especially in my own home tomorrow really is here today. If I am feeling like a dress, imagining the comfort and the beauty "If you want to wear a dress, then wear one!" simple as that having the freedom to simply wear whatever I desire is nirvana.

I am very fortunate that here at age 59 I have absolute freedom especially around the house and on my own property only my stupid brain prevents me from being out before the whole wide world! That will come some are able at 20 to jump right out there, unfortunately I am one of those who move along at the speed of a slug. That is my problem but the thought of going out in a dress excites me to think about, had I someone to go visit or to go somewhere with. In this day and age the only problem is the barrier our own mind creates for us keeping us from being exceedingly happy to be alive and fully out there.

You do have to fully understand and accept it all...hey, this is who I am, and my gender does move into the feminine range a lot. People can think of me however does that really make any difference to me? No because what they think about me...sissy, feminine...is true about half the time, but hey I am secure in my heterosexuality so I do not care if they also mistakenly think I am gay, hey some of us are, or are bi or whatever...what is that to me? I am not gay and if it comes up it's a simple clarification for them and they can choose to believe it or not they want to disbelieve and still continue thinking I am attracted to men - fine! Doesn't bother me because I know it's not true and it does not matter what others choose to believe about me, that is their problem not mine. So there...

Gee..hurry up!

There is a point, I believe I may be there or very very close to there where I get up and just get dressed as desired in clothing, just a matter what I want...where my gender is mentally it becomes hum which way? That way...

Hi,

If you take western thinking out of the photo and go back many 100,s of years long before western society became like it is now you will find women did wear pants so go back before the English irish went to the America,s , pants were in other countys = Arabian women so how far do you go back or wont to its not the issue or men wearing skirts or dress,s ,

Its about a group of people who wonted to control fashion so they did a good job of it would you say so the facts are there when you look at history , funny that yet some are so narrow minded they really don't wont to know , also men and women wore the same type of clothing the drama continue,s yet when you see it for what it is there is no drama .

Oh well back to me overalls on the roof doing repairs looking like any other guy on the job 2 more days in shorts ...a... well what ever ........

Oh .....Did I say sun hat .....

Suppose I was thinking about more recent history and in our lifetime. Of course there are examples and in ancient times I believe there were only perhaps leggings or cloth wrapped on to and strapped to the legs in cold weather.

Rite...back to whatever...well in a dress right now...myself.
