My first girl dream

Post by Elizabeth »

Hi girls,

Last night for the first time ever I was a girl in my dream. The dream was mostly about my hair being very long. I was elated about realizing that it had grown out. I could reach around my back with my hand in the small of my back, and grab a ponytail. It was thick and straight. I was amazed it grew so quickly.

While intectually I was still me, and still felt like me. There was a realization I was indeed a girl. I don't remember seeing breasts on me, or anything like that, just a realization, that I was indeed a girl. It seemed normal to me in the dream. It was not until this afternoon that I even gave it a thought that I had not questioned suddenly being a girl in the dream.

Does anyone have any experiences like this they could perhaps share. I also welcome comments on this. I do have to say, it was a great feeling.

Love always,
Elizabeth

It's funny you mention that because once or twice I've dreamt I was a GG ... I'd always be either at work or visiting family in the dream, two instances where I would NOT be dressed in real life, LOL...

Those dreams are great, aren't they? @@9@@

My first girl dream

Post by Sally »

Hi Elizabeth,

It's been many years since I recall having a gender related dream, but as a child and into my teenage years when my gender issues were at their height, it was a common occurrence for me to be a girl in my dreams.

Therapists who have researched this area seem to find a common bond amongst Transsexuals where in their dreams they are actually a girl or woman, whereas the common bond therapists find amongst M/F Crossdressers is that in their dreams they are still the same person but crossdressed. Another thing which therapists find common to TS's dreams is that they tend to dream where they are going back in time to the stage of early childhood and there they dream they were actually a true girl.

Also a common theme which therapists talk about concerning Crossdressers dreams is that it's common for them to have dreams which involve them being crossdressed and in situations where they are at risk of being found out, such as being crossdressed and someone about to open a door and walk in on them. Another common theme I have read which therapists find with Crossdressers dreams, is, many have dreams going back to their childhood and dream of themselves as little boys being hurt.

A common dream I had as a child was that I was a girl and was being chased by a large group of other children and in every dream just as they were about to grab me I woke up, always in a frantic state. Unfortunately back then there was no one I could tell about this or anything to do with my gender issues, I didn't understand it then and probably still don't.

I've never tried to analyse dreams but it's been said that our dreams originate often from our unconscious and this seems plausible that we'd dream of things which we think about, both in our conscious and unconscious state.

Kind Regards.

Sally.

I believe one dreams about those things they are not sure of. As an example every time I would start a new job I would do that job over and over again in my dreams until I was on the job long enough to know how to do it. Then the dreams would stop.

A dream I have every so often, is one where I am cross-dressed and there is someone else in the room with me. Nothing ever happens one way or the other, that is no rejection, and no verified acceptance. I always wake up with out finding out for sure.

Hi girls,

There were others in the dream, but I don't know who. I was showing them my hair, and talking about how fast it grew out, and they were touching it from behind and running thier fingers through it. It was at least two different girls, but I did not see them in my dream. It was like they were my friends. One of them mentioned how I had said I was going to grow my hair out. We were all talking and commenting on it, even though I did not recognize the voices, It was like they were my friends, and we were all very familiar with each other. It was a very strange dream. I was so bummed out when I woke up and realized I did not have long hair.

Not to get into too much detail but I had a dream once where I was a GG :) and ahh...... felt the ahh.... parts while I was laying in bed(in the dream). Unfortunetly, I woke up :( before ahhh.... too much ahh.... you can kind of guess  . That was about a year ago and the strange thing was that because Bubbles went to be before I did, she had ended up on my side of the bed  so I slept on hers  .

Other than that, I have only had one dream where I was dressed up and went out. I don't remember too much more than that. :(

That is too funny, Sophie! Personally, I think you should stick with the latter--pink suits you (just as it does the supermodel in your avatar)!

Yeah, Sophie, are you and the supermodel one and the same? I saw a photo you posted a few weeks ago, of a most presentable young lady walking along the street. =P~ But you never posted any more pics. ....

No need to answer.

PS: Ginny lives in my dreams.

Some time ago I had a dream of myself sitting in front of mirror. I don´t remember if I was dressed or not but my face looked very feminine and my hair was long and soft. The feeling was wonderful I was so happy `cause I thought I had become a woman. Thats weird because I consider myself as a crossdresser, not a transsexual. Maybe there´s something in my personality I don´t understand yet.
By the way, Sally, you always have such a wonderful answers for many problems. Reading your posts has helped me many times. Thanks! :)

Hi Elizabeth,

Your story suddenly broughgt back some long lost memories. I recall, back in pre-teen days, I think, I used to have dreams about being a girl - a pretty one, with long blond hair. But not since then.

This may have had something to do with the fact that my mother always wanted a girl, but there I was, a lanky boy. I guess this had some relation to my crossdressing.

BTW, Elizabeth, I want to add my expressions of delight to have you back here. I only recently joined this great group, but I quickly appreciated your input. I wish I could pour out my emotions the way you do. I think of you as the soul of this Forum. I mean soul in the Russian novel sense.

Love,
Willy

I have had dreams of both, being a CD as well as being a female. The only problem I have with these dreams is that they are not happy, loving style of dreams. They are morbid, where death or some other tragedy occurs. I don't usually have the "kid in the candy shop" type of dreams. I usually have dreams of being a CD or a woman and hanging by my neck, from the cieling fan in the candy shop.

Hi girls,

Many times I have tried to research dreams and dream interpretation. It seems that there is just nothing solid. Lots of theories, lot of what different psychologists, psychiatrists, philosopheres and every other Tom, Dick and Harry think, but absolutely nothing solid that I know of.

I know many of you are college educated and may know of something solid in regard to dream interpretation. I would be interested to hear if there is anything solid. I know it is not unusual to have these kinds of dreams, but I am curious why I have never had such a dream until now.

Love always,

Well, I loved psychology in school. I was a big believer in symbolism that Freud would teach but one of the most profound thing that I (mis)remember him quoted as saying "Some times a cigar is just a cigar".

My personal belief is that dreams is your brain's way of defragmenting. That is why they can be so hard to interpret. They can be memories or fantasies that are being stored from the previous day. I have only had two lucid dreams in my live and remember them vividly. I would love to have the ability to lucid dream at will but alas that is a skill I lack. I am sorry that this is not the solid thing that you are looking for, heck I am not even sure it really adds anything to the thread.

In conclusion, I beleive that we dream in order for our brain to organize the information that it has. Although many beleive that it is just a random firing of neurons and our brain is just trying to make sense of them. So depending on which neurons are firing, will depend on what kind of dream you have. And as with horoscopes and such, it is really open to a matter of interpritation(sp?).
