CJ-confusing
I must be slow this morning. Was reading on of your (CJ) posts but couldn't connect it to you mentally. Why? You changed your avatar! Change it back please?

Hi all,
Donna,
It wouldn't be the first time someone thinks I'm confusing (although, usually, they just think I'm confused
). I'll admit I grew a bit tired of seeing my face there, next to my posts. I'm trying to come up with an interesting avatar, something that I think reflects my personality. You don't like it, hmm? To tell you the truth, I have mixed feelings about it, too. I'll try to see if I can come up with something better. I was sort of tired of my signature, also. I guess I may need to look into that as well.
Take care, Donna. And thanks for chiming in.
Love,
CJ

Hi all,
Shannon,
The avatar wasn't "confusing" because it wasn't me; I guess Donna found it confusing because she was used to seeing a photo of me next to my posts. No, the avatar was just a graphic I found on the web (I don't remember where now); it was a stylized portrait of a person, female on the left side of her face and male on the right side of his face. It was sort of an eerie drawing, actually. I'm trying to find something more original than just my face to use as an avatar. Oh well.
Merinda,
I once saw a person who looked like that, too, but I don't remember where. In a movie somewhere, maybe? Or on some Halloween night or other? I don't know. I imagine such a look must be very hard to achieve, though.
Love,
CJ

Exactly, I was use to her pretty face and saw the other avatar in the corner of my eye when reading her posts, and initially couldn't mentally connect the two. My problem only.I guess Donna found it confusing because she was used to seeing a photo of me next to my posts.
And for those of you who missed it, come around more often

By the way, to the person who dissed all of my photos on the gallery, last week...
...I want to thank you.
Although the gesture was a cowardly one, it's made me realize just how much of a logical gap can exist between my presence here, on the forum, as a way for me to get to know myself (and others) better--by addressing deep-seated issues--and my presence on the photo gallery, where I sought an appraisal of my appearance... nothing but a skin-deep affair. I don't need that appraisal to feel good about myself as much as you obviously need to be unkind to others in order to feel good about who you are.
Now, I guess we're even: I got a 0 out of 5 for all my photos; you get a 0 out of 5 for lacking the courage to communicate honestly and openly with me in order to settle whatever difference you imagine exists between us.
I post this here because it's also a major reason I've been debating the appropriateness of using a photo of myself as an avatar. But, again, I'm very grateful to you, whoever you are, for having made me realize just how unnecessary it is for me to have photos of myself up on the gallery.
May you fare well, friend. You have a ways to go yet.

Yikes!!!
I degress CJ.
That sarcasim was not directed at you, It was in support of you.
It was tongue in cheek directed towards the offender. You did nothing wrong.
In fact I support you for responding as you did in situations like that. Not to do that...leaves room for those kind of people to feel good about themselves, when they were trying to hurt another.
There is no room in my life for anyone with that kind of an attitude.
PS. Don't assume that because you know me one way, neccesarily means that I will respond the same way in every situation. I choose how I will respond to each situation based on how I see the situation.
Love Darlene.

Your not alone CJ ,
I've had a run of 0/5 s on some of my photos as well , I assumed who ever did that hit the wrong key or is jellous of me .
I dont take notice of anyones opinion unless they have the guts to put their name to it , don't worry CJ you are a beautiful lady and nobody will change my opinion of you

Uh, Eloise? "Action Transvestite"? Hmmmm...I like it, I like it!
Is that a little bit like a "Crossdressed Figurine (outfit sold separately)"?
