Hi folks--
No notifications for days, and then--POW--all of them hit in one day. It's a minor thing on my end, but just wanted to let you know that they're not coming through when they're generated.

I had a PM sit in my outbox for over a week (that I have since gotten rid of) inspite of the fact that the person to whom it was sent was posting here regularly.

Hi there,

Sometimes mail on the forum doesn't always send the way it's supposed to. It's happened to be a few times too. :? Sorry about that Anita. :( I've checked the configuration files, but they are setup correctly. Unfortunately it happens sporadically and this makes it hard to test. :(

Regarding PMs, what I've also discovered is sometimes people don't notice PMs. I have over 8 PMs that were sent last year that people haven't read. :( So it is quite possible that people do not read PMs. In that case it would stay in your outbox and not move to your sent box because a person has not read it. I'd say 99% of the time PMs I send are read.

At least they didn't delete it. If they deleted it, it would disappear from your outbox, so either the person doesn't see it or they don't want to open it. :( My suggestion is to re-send them, but I do admit this may not work either.

Sorry about this. :(

Hi all,

Here's a tip:

If you don't want to miss a PM someone has sent you, make sure you checked "Yes" on the Pop up window on new Private Message option in the "Preferences" section of your user profile.

Love,
CJ
