Okay, total Dejavu!
I was just watching that muppet segment yesterday.
My daughter loves it and asked me to show one of her friends. So I dug it out and played it for them. I love the muppets...and miss them so!
There was also a segment with Sandra Bullock and Kermit, using the same tune. It's too cute.

Hi,

I remember when I first saw that it was on Sesame Street. :) I fell in love with that song (like everyone else does when they here it) instantly. There was this muppet that would walk up and say the mahna-mahna part. He'd fight really hard to not go off on the part where you do the improv mahna-mahna and the two girl singing muppets who were singing the other part of the song would stare at him until he'd stop. It was great! :)
