Lorna,
I have gotten most of my hair from Paula Young, but I put this place on my favorites list as she has some beautiful hair. don't know that I need to get any more now as I have too many, but these are georgeous.
Thanks for the lead!

No problem, hon!! (--)

With all of the wig resources available to us gals nowadays, I have a feeling that my wig collection is about to explode!! I'm still sticking with my current color though, but there will be nights where I will go with the black hair for my goth nights out... 8)

My GG friend Lyn also wears wigs as well & has quite a collection herself (in fact she & I swap wigs from time to time) but '06 will definitely be a year where I express myself thru hair!!

Lorna,

That wig should look gorgeous on you!

I have 6 wigs (5 blonde) that I wear at most a couple of hours at a time, and only one head to wear them on, but as they start wearing out, I'm going to add that place to Paula Young and TWC in my searching.

Lorna,

Thanks for the link. I went there and found three or four wigs I immediately fell in love with. I ordered one of them. I hope their quality is as good as their pictures.

By the way, I love the way you look, especially when you're hanging out with your GG friends-- so natural and at ease. I think when GGs accept you and take you into their circle, there is an amazing feeling of belonging in a club that most men never dreamed existed. You radiate in those situations.

Again, thanks for the link.

Hi all

One of the pitfalls of buying wigs off of Evilbay is you can get some poor items, and even by looking at the feedback to see how many negatives the seller has, is no indication of the sellers wig quality.

The problem is, some sellers are selling a lot of wigs, but there not selling them to people that wear or use them daily and in some cases the people who have bought them, for some it will be the first wig they have ever bought, and most will have no idea of the differences between a good wig and a bad one! ie there mostly first time wearers, or fellow dressers, also they tend to leave feedback for the service they have recieved and the speed of the delivery, with out getting a feel for the product they have bought,

Some of the common problems with cheaper wigs, is sometime they are cut wrong, therefore they don't sit on the head correctly and look like a wig, or the weft can be seen at the back of the wig sometime you can only see this when worn, and in bad cases the wearers own hair can be seen through the wig, certainly if your a brunette trying to be blonde!!!! the other case on some wigs is they shed, and they shed badly. therefore dispite looking nice every time you brush the wig, it starts to lose it's hair, and it's not long before the item is unuseable!!!!

A good quality wig, used daily should last at least 6 to 9 month, longer if looked after and much longer for a CD's occational use. hence buying the best you can afford, over cheaper items sometimes is a better economy, certainly if you check the tag sales and reductions

ie something like this,

http://www.wilshirewigs.com/ROXIE-by-No ... -1170.html

may be twice the price, but will last much, much longer

Tracy
