Torrid

Post by Jaye »

I'm sure everyone here is tired of hearing me crow about Torrid, but I can't help myself. Torrid is a subsidiary of the Hot Topic company, but their demographic skews just a little bit older, and everything they sell runs in sizes 12-26. They have stores all over, but the website is there for everyone that doesn't have a store by them.

http://www.torrid.com/

A note about the sizes: Some of the stuff they carry is listed in traditional sizes, but their in-house size chart runs from 0-5. A 0 is approximately a 12, 1 is 14-16, 2 18-20 and so on. Sometimes a product will run a little small or large, so there is some variance. In most of their tops, I wear a 2, but I have a few 1s and a 3 too. Their Z. Cavaricci jeans run bigger than comparable brands. In Lee Riders, I wear a 14-16, but my Torrid jeans are all 12s. Go figure.

And the clothes ain't bad either. I meant to send you a link to them before, because some of their stuff just has "LORNA" written all over it.

There is a great store called Chicos. It has clothes for the more mature ladies. Great styles and everything is comfy. Check it out on the web ladies. I think you will like it. Hugs

I looked at their website and found out there was a store at a nearby mall.

I went there today and thought they had some cute things, especially some dresses with poufy skirts with what looked like built in petticoats.

I'll have to check back for sales.

I checked the Chico website, but none are near me.
