My wife flew to Houston yesterday, and they confiscated her mascara.
Anyone else had trouble with carrying on makeup?

We are lucky though.
Hi ladies.
First it was box cutters, then pens, nail files, liquids and shoes. Just be thankful no one ever put a device in their butt! Whoa! I can just imagine the long lines in airports around Provincetown and San Francisco. Hugs

We traveled a couple of weeks ago and they found my wife's mascara and told her that it was a liquid and it needed to be in her clear zip lock bag. They handed it to her, had her put it into the zip lock bag (with some other makeup items she had) and ran it through the x-ray machine again.
Seemed ridiculous to me, but they let her keep this potentially dangerous cargo. I guess the plastic bag has some mysterious power to protect us.
