Labels are great to help others deal with and identify us and others. Most of us have many labels. Some labels we give ourselves some others give to us.

I am a man, husband, lover, father, provider, nurse, doctor, sensitive, masculine, feminine, builder, concrete worker, mower, gardener, electrician, sewer, baker, chef, garbage person, trucker, taxi driver, delivery person, crossdresser, chocolate lover, chinese food eater, meat and potatos eater, salad eater, dog lover, put up with cats, ......

I think you may get the point. We all have many labels. Sometimes to help ourselves in classifying who we are, but mostly so others can relate to us. And just because someone else gives you a label for them to use, does not mean you have to use the label yourself. And one persons definition of a label may be different than than another persons definition.

And while labels help for others to relate to us and us to relate to others, they are just labels. If you really want to get to know someone you just truely need to spend some time with them. Then often your only label becomes your name. And not the name label, but you the person.

So while labels are a great way to help others, and a way to get to initially know someone, they are just labels. And no amount of labels can really tell someone who the real you is.

So forget the labels, let's just get to know each other.
