Baby steps work better than I ever thought they would.

Post by Lisbeth »

I haven't posted in awhile. My wife has been sick for over 2 months now and it just seems like the tests are never ending. They think that a big part of the problem is Epstein-Barr Syndrome which is one step short of mononeucleosis. She seems to be doing better the last couple of days, less tired and in a better mood. It's been a rough year for all of us especially her. Her mother died in Sept this past year and her daughter has been hospitalized a couple of times. She has, among other things, Lupus. I try to be the one to keep it all rolling along.

I am happy to report that all is well with us as far as my CDing. They both have heartily accepted the fact that this is who I am and probably always will be, Life is good. Both my wife and my step daughter (K) have taken to "borrowing" my make-up. Don't you just love it! Even as sick as my wife has been feeling we still go out and go shopping. It's good excercise for her and I love shopping with her. Today she insisted that I buy the shoes I was admiring. What a nice feeling knowing that she loves ALL of me.

Even with all of the controversy going on in my life right now I've never been happier or more at ease with myself and the world in general. All of you girls have made that possible. You've all shown me that I'm not at all alone and that just blows me away.
Thanks to all of you.

Carol Ann,

You and your wife are in our prayers, both for a full recovery and for wisdom for the Doctors as they treat her. Stay strong and keep looking up.
