Hi Carol Anne...

You have the ability to edit or delete your own posts. Look at the post you made above and in the upper right hand corner there will be an X, which is your delete button, and there is another button next to that which says edit..

The text at the bottom of the page just lets you know what you have the ability to do...

One thing, though--you can edit a post at any time, but you can't delete a post if someone else has posted after you. [Either replied to your post, or else put another reply after yours in a thread that you've replied to.]
At that point, only the administraters can delete your post.

Is this correct? I just remember some past confusion on this point.

That's right Anita... Once someone else has posted, you can no longer delete yours. You will have to get an Admin to do that. You will still be able to edit your post though...
