Question please:
Is this about ME?
Edited: I thought it was a joke. For several things mentioned are similar to what I have done in my writing. Thus, my question.

Roberta, there is no correlation between the deceased author and yourself.

Hi all,
Sorry to hear about Robert Asprin's death, especially so soon after Arthur Clarke's. Another literary giant in the field of fantastic fiction leaves us. Sad. I have to admit I've never read any of Mr. Asprin's fiction, though I've always wanted to.
I've heard it through the grapevine that he was working on several pieces at the time of his death. Among them:
- Little Myth High Heels
- Myth Veronica Vera's Finishing School for Boys Who Want to be Girls
- Don't Myth the Boat: A Memoir of my Dignity Cruise Travels
Just kidding, folks. A brief moment of levity in a time of mourning. Mr. Asprin will be, uh, sorely mythed.
Love,
CJ

Hi CJ. You would likely enjoy his books for light reading. He loved puns and worked in as many as he could possibly do in the Myth books, though the Thieves World was a different matter. He often chaired pun-offs at SF conventions, and was always entertaining. His ex-wife and his daughter both lived in Oklahoma City for a time, and his daughter, Annette, still does. She participates in RPGs of all kinds, usually embroidrying while she does so!!!

I remember reading one of the Myth books when I was ten or so. The plot sticks out in my head because they were dressing Skeeve up as a woman on some pretext or other. It was played for laughs, of course. And it was funny; eventually Aahz had to dress up as well. Hilarity did ensue. I was very sensitive to TG content at that age.
