Growing up I don't remember ever being interested in wearing mom's cloths. I have two brothers and we were busy doing all the things boy do growing up.
Later my "high school sweetheart" were married and I entered the Navy. Anyway my first duty station after A school was a shore duty billet at Patuxent River NAS, in Maryland. This would be 1975.
I wanted to surprise her so I bought her a denim skirt and top to go with the skirt. Still no thoughts of ever wearing the outfit. She liked it and would wear it every now and then, and I thought she looked nice.
One day she left for her job and I was by myself in our apartment. I took a shower and while I was getting dressed (guy clothes) the thought to try on the outfit overwhelmed me, but I shook it off and went about my business. What ever it was kept calling me and finally I went back about an hour later and changed into the skirt and top. The outfit was just a tad tight but I continued to wear the skirt and top for another hour or so.
When I changed back to my guy clothes, I pondered on what had just happened and decided to keep it to myself. But from that day on I knew I would do it again whenever I could.
Two years later we were divorced, but she never knew about what happened.
Now it's 2008, my "new wife" and I will celebrate or 28th anniversary in May. She is supportive and I dress around her all the time when we are alone in the house.
peace
For me it started a little later

Thanks Julie Ann,
Although I started much earlier I never had thoughts of it till I accidently did it. I think for many of us it is something that lies dormant till something happens. That something can be very inconsequential but as we all know here can have quite a ripple effect.
