Rings

Has anyone bought feminine rings? I always tended to ignore them but the more I thought about it the more I decided to take the plunge. I have gotten a silver one and an engagement type ring at a consignment shop - reasonable and they fit my fat fingers

Tes the diamonds are not real but hey they look good. Looks better than my male wedding ring and I can still wear a ring on the correct finger.

There are some big gaudy types but I'd rather not attract too much attention.

Anyone else?

I have a number of rings. I always wear my wedding and engagement rings and alternate between a "sappire and diamond" ring and a ring with a number of "unknown blue stones". I was told by some GG friends that accessories make the look and I agree. Nice glue on nails complete the look. Lately I'm favoring french manicure, but I may go back to a shade of red.

Big bracelets also help the look and also make your hands and wrists look smaller.

Rings bother me for some reason. Although I'm sure I could force myself to wear them, and get used to them in time. But why bother?

The only accessory I wear is this little pendant I bought few years ago. It's relatively small and too too feminine or masculine. It's perfect for me.

And it was cheap too! (that's what matters to me)

Same with me. But I do where a necklace, I am not sure if it really has a sex desination as it lether with a solitary painted beed on in the center. CAN ANY ONE GUESS WHAT IS PAINTED ON IT?

I'll wait for a guess. But that only accesory I have every thought of. Am defentaly not one for earings (at least not on me).

Hi all,

With arthritis in my fingers, I had to quit wearing rings a few years ago. Until then, I wore my wedding ring 24/7. I started having trouble getting it off sometimes and didn't want to have it stuck on.

I do like clip earrings, necklaces, and bracelets. A few of them I inherited from my mother (her favorite jewelry was pins). My wife's favorite jewelry is pierced earrings.

Hi all,

I'm not a big fan of rings... on my fingers, that is. A number of years ago, my SO at the time crafted a few toe rings for me, and I've been hooked ever since. I've bought quite an assortment over the years and wear them all the time, in both boy mode and girl mode (although, in girl mode, I also often wear close-to-matching ankle bracelets). Some of my colleagues--both male and female--also wear toe rings.

I only wear one ring on my fingers, whatever my gender. I like to keep my hands free and unencumbered (for the same reason, I'm also a knapsack or backpack person in boy mode and a "purson" in girl mode

).

Arthritis means you can't wear rings (without discomfort)?

With arthritis in my fingers, the finger joints can swell up so they are a significantly larger diameter than the rest of the finger. A ring of a large enough size to easily fit over the swollen joint, would be too loose to be comfortable.

The only rings I have that I ever cared about were my wedding ring and high school ring. They now live safely in my jewelry box.

When I dress up femme, I skip rings and go with jewelry I CAN wear comfortably - clip earrings, necklaces, bracelets. I don't feel deprived by not wearing rings.

While not a jewelry fanatic, I now have 3 rings - a silver, solitare gold with small side accents (fav) and a 3 stone gold all with faux diamonds. All around $8 each.

For awhile I have had Monet clip-on earrings. My wife has worn them for years as her pierced ears got to a bad point and she had to stop wearing them. Monet are quite comfortable and come in fashionable styles. $15 retail, alot less on a good sale.

I have a few necklaces also, a few special ones I picked up on travels, a couple of bargain gold tone ones from a clearance sale.

All of this are not must have accessories but it is cool to have the option.

And I agree, the best jewelry is/are the piece(s) that have special significance.
