Many of of use remember our first time dressing, in fact some of us have written about it on this forum. I have written about my first time, here and have briefly mentioned visiting my in-laws elderly neighbor while dressed. One day springs to mind frequently as being memorable. It was a cold snowy winter day, Cookie (my friend) was stuck in side, I had just finished plowing the driveway and stopped in to visit with her. Halfway through our coffee, I heard the door bell ring and the downstairs door open. Cookie told me to stay seated that it was okay, but I scampered down the hall to her family room to be out of sight. Moments later I heard Cookie and her guest walking down the hallway towards me, I quickly surveyed my situation - I was stuck. I stood there in my peach suit (I just posted the pic), stockings, heels and dangling ear rings as Cookie and her Brother turned into the room. I was introduced as her "Girlfriend Fran". We spent the next few minutes with pleasantries and even a comment that it was a nice outfit, but I'm sure he was equally as shocked to see me. He followed me down the hall to my waiting coffee and he left. Cookie and I speak of that moment often and since I still visit her dressed, I guess it wasn't a problem.

One of them, who lives to my south, came over about 3 weeks ago when he saw me in the yard. I introduced myself as "Bob's identical" and left it at that for him to fill in the blanks. He replied: "Oh, so you are twins. You certainly look like him." To which I replied: "Yeah, but he has a beard, remember?"
For he had met me before I had shaved my beard and therefore knew me when I first moved in last Oct. He then inquired if he could help me with mowing my yard and I informed him I had bought a riding mower and would not need his help but "thank you anyway." So he left and has not been back.
And, since I am now 24/7, he sees me all the time outside and says nothing. His wife, on the other hand, waves when she sees me. I wave back and thus is the extent of our relationship up to now.
Another neighbor stopped by this past week while looking for his dog--which he fails to keep on a leash--and asked if I'd seen his dog. I merely shook my head no. He then ask me to let him know if I saw it and I nodded yes. He then left and nothing else was said. (He probably doesn't even remember it though for he was DRUNK! And I have no concern for drunks!)
