I saw in the magazine Interview (June/July 2008) an article about Designer Marc Jacobs. In the article are several photographs of him wearing several rathe nice outfits - a nice black dress and dark tights. Obviously he did it to create discussion, but while not a mainstream Mag (it was free in an attempt to get subscriptions),it was interesting to see. He also had dyed red hair and tattoos - so the message was definitely "In your face"

I've seen some TG stuff in interview before. A couple of years ago they did an interview with Charles Busch, and they've done quite a few fashion layouts with very androgynous models.
