first time out in my new skirt & with a purse

the other day i posted about my shopping fun & I bought two mini skirts,so I decided on sunday i was going to wear one for first time .So i put on with a pair of black poka dot wedges & a casual top(no wig or make-up) & off to the mall. On sundays they don't open till noon & they are always crowded.its too early not open yet so i decide to test my nerves by getting lunch early & go though the wendy's drive though( the girl looks at me ,then my skrirt a than gets a big smile & keeps telling me to have a nice day) The malls now open & parking lot already 70% full , i park (have the well are you going to get out talk to myself ) get out grab my purse & lock the door .Deep breath & start warlking to mall entrace,an older coulple looks at i'm wearing smile & continue on . I not really looking for anything just trying to get at& what it feel like to walk in skirt in heel carry a pursre . deceded to stop in one of favourites , who helped me before & found two top(one sale)plus both would go with that mini aan a coulpe other skirts. i deced to check out another stored & they told me about 10 dollars of there shorts bought a nice pink one but eat you haert girls i was able to buy this onr in smallest size they had a size three so i wen't to to many more just to browse the stores & se what kingda action i would get 90% smiled, 1% maybe gigled the yes inored me & may .5 (four young teenage books look at me but didn't say boo, so next i'm hoping to buy gas maybe have lunch at a resturant .Stephenie g going futher down the journy . Everytime we do that we educate so that the next time someone from the "great unwashed" sees one of "us" their brain, hopefully says, "hey that's not new, I have seen one before and they are not dangerous!"

Good for you Stephenie. Nothing better than gaining the confidence to just do it! I may have asked before, but are you in a big city or just out in small town Ontario? Either way, good luck on your next trip.

Hi Stephenie--
Glad you could get out and do it. In a miniskirt, you can get more reaction than with other kinds of clothing. It sounds like you didn't get an any attention that you didn't want, so...good deal. Get ready for the next expedition.

Yes Virginia thats how i feel when i go out & that why smile alot , try to be as friendly as i can be so that people can get that feeling too hey its no big deal , he's just a guy who loves to dress up.Stephenie g

no you haven't asked if i lived in small town before ,its has a pop of 120000 about 1hr from T.O . I do most of my shopping in cambridge or Kitchener . I love your pic & maybe someday we could get together & you give me some beauty tips & we could go shopping . Stephenie G

Thanks kimberly is through chatting with girl like you or reading others post that's given me the encouragement to be more of stephenie. again thanks to you i always enjoy our chat & feel i known you for years & i too wish you lived closer so we could do some shopping together , who knows maybe someday i'll be in your neck of the woods & you'll have that house done. Yes your right Anita i was a little afraid of getting extra attention in a mini skirt & I'm gald i didn't it was great fun . Plus i've been to this mall before i'm sure alot of the regular Sa of all the stores no i'm no threat ,plus the security gaurds have seen me in my heels many times, & i'm not sure its its just my attitude but i always smile at everyone,so i do hope to go out in my mini's again i was so natural to me. You have the confidence of Kings and Queens, I have to say I grovel at your feet.

The idea is catching on in my area, but to do what you did would be straight up ridicule. I am scared to go out dressed let alone as you did. I may get stoned or hung.

I am so happy for you and your confidence level. AMAZING!

yes Christine it was obvios, i was definitely in my i don't care what others think mode , & i'm sure the other girls here will tell you that in my mind i pictured the worse & ended up having a great time , been told compliments ,shared some laughs, lots of smiling helps , be confident & if you want to go out just do it & i'm sure you be surprised at yourself & others . There seems to be quite a concentration of TG folks in that area, so don't be surprised if you run into some of our sisters out in those malls. I have a few friends out in that area.

Hey, perhaps a shopping trip might be on the cards someday?
