A pretty photo Pics me up
I know many of us express and experience our feminine sides differently. For me the most fun and most fullfilling is to capture that special look on my digital camera. I love to create a new look using different make up schemes, outfits and wigs. I am truly a narcaissist and could stand in front of the mirror for hours, but that's hardly practical. So having a photo to glance at later seems to work well for me.
My feminine side "Missy" has a basic look. I can look at a photo and see her plain as day. What I strive to do is take a photo that looks wondeful, but nothing like Missy at all. Maybe I am trying bury the male side deeper in make up, maybe I am looking for another part of the fem me that heretofor has eluded me, or maybe I just like finding a new look. Well to be honest I LOVE discovering the new layers and looks that are under this very complex guy.
Many of my attempts to find a new girl are not immediately successful. I seem to enjoy trying to make a look work more then just peering at one I am comfortable with. It's a challenge to make this wig or that dress work, but I find the reward to be worth the effort when success is finaly achieved. I still have several wigs and and outfits that have not made the grade, and have even given up on a number of them. I suggest for those of you out there that are adventurous, to try to find that girl hidden under the sheets of your perception. I am not in any way suggesting that any of our attempts to express our girl side is lacking... simply that it might be fun to go over the top, around the corner or inside out to see what's not yet been seen

Yes all of us are very different. I am almost an exact opposite of you. Blending casual and few pictures.Melisa wrote:I know many of us express and experience our feminine sides differently.

I am a physically male person that likes to wear feminine clothes at times.
Just trying keep a balance for my self along with keeping my wife and kids in mind.

Today I had on a new white dress and tried a different eye makeup routine. Not a routine, but I tried putting on eye shadow differently. IT worked! I loved it.
I took a few photo's and will crop/clean them up a bit and will post in the next day or so. After 2 years I am just now figuring out what will 'probably' work for me, my correct sizes and have been somewhat successful with eye makeup. Plus, since I started laser hair removal I don't have to work on the shadow anymore!

I agree it's always fun to try out new looks. Donna is right though in saying that just getting it right once is often a challenge. However, did get a chance to enjoy a full transformation that brought out a very different girl from the Stephanie I'm used to. What was interesting was the very intense feelings I had about myself at the finished result. Not easy to explain, just a sense of peace that I'd never felt before and the feeling of being in a different place.

I would love to have someone in the MAKEUP know for trans genders have a go at me!
I have found my kind of Zen but I know if I had someone in the know I could look much better. My wife did my makeup once and I was happy but I pointed out the difference in man VS woman and had to add or change a few techniques.
I think I am a viable canvas but need the right painter

I love to share what I know. I have taken a series of 100 pics from guy to girl. I have shared these in a class like setting on Yahoo Messenger. If anyone would like, just contact me and I will be more then happy to show you a few tricks. The make up I show is basically for photography, but many of the techniques can be modified to help with everyday wear. I will be taking more makeup technique series in the future. Not only do these photos help teach others, but lets me more closely examine the process and refine it to give me and anyone who uses them better results.
