How do you feel about your body?

General talk about CD/TGing and gender topics that aren't necessarily fun things we do while en femme, or for gender-driven discussions.

How do you feel about your body?

Post by MsJoann »

Maybe it's just me but I wanted to see how others feel regarding their bodies.
There is not one CD who doesn't like taking pictrures of themselves. I'm sure that at some point some of us went a little beyond and tried nude photos.
I set high standards for myself but for some reason I don't think I look all that good naked. Could it be the fact that I am so used to pics of me dressed that I can't give myself a provocative pose using a self-timer on the camera.
Don't get me wrong, I love my bod but I also realize that I don't have the curves of a female.
Does anyone feel the same way?

I used to take and develop many photos of me. This was back in the seventies. Now the digital cameras make it easy. Photoshop can also make you look halfway decent. I only took pictures while dressed in different outfits. Now, at 65, there is no hope of passing so I'm content to throw on a blouse, jeans, shoes and suitable undergarments and take a digital or two. I started with the pictures when I was in high school , Mostly in skirts and dresses. Since I'm closeted I keep a extra hard drive for these type pictures. If you're into photography get a copy of portrait perfect for face shaping and make up

My body? Too darned big. And I don't mean fat, I mean BIG. At least I got rid of most of the body hair a few years ago with laser epilation, and for the most part, it's still all good. If someone could tell me how to make my shoulders smaller (and don't tell me to scrunch down) I'd greatly appreciate it. ;)

Not too big, just too fat

I've got 30 (40?) extra pounds that I really don't need.

Besides, I have a big frame, so even without the pounds, I'd probably wear a size 14 (or 16).

Going on a very strict health diet change of life, I lost and continue to keep it off, about 35lbs. I used to wear size 14, but now wear a size 8. I have no stomach, flat as a board and even have a somewhat hourglass for a guy.
I take pictures now and then, usually 2-3 good pics for every 20 I take. I just take a lot of them then pick and choose. I'm happy with my body. Can't lose anymore at 6' I'm 157lbs, and just tested my body fat last week, at 4.9%. My biggest issue is my arms, my veins stick out profusely. Can't have it all, I continue to lift weights regularly.

I took some nude photos back in Sept. of last year just to have them. I know I do not look like a lovely female body but I wanted them so I took them.

Since then, I've not taken any more. That was enough to satisfy me and get it out of my system. I have taken several in my femme undies though. And I have them and continue to do that if I feel like taking one. But most are en femme and when I buy something new.

But I have no problem with taking photos. For I am one who appreciates nudity in all forms, shapes and styles. So I am able to appreciate all who do likewise. Likewise, I am happy with my body and love it. Which I believe all of us ought to do. Yes, I would like to lose some pounds but which girl would not want to do that?

I like taking pictures although I'm not terribly attractive in womens clothing. I kind of like how I look as a guy. I'd like to lose another 40 lbs. I'd like to be able to look like a fit and cute 20 something girl in my femme clothes but at age 55 it will not happen no matter what. Basically I'm okay with how my body looks.

But often I hate my body and feel totally betrayed by it. Not because of how it looks but because of how it acts. I really hate not being able to walk more than a couple of miles without my knees giving me a really bad time. If there is one part of my body I am totally dissatisfied with it is not my face or anything else like that, it's my knees. If they would just work the way they are supposed to that would be all I would ask of them.

In another 5 or 10 years I will probably have them replaced. But I am not looking forward to that.

I'm with you on the knees. I tore most of what holds the knee together during a sparring match with my Karate Instructor. Now 20 years later, I really have to watch myself on ladders and stairways.
As for my own opinion of my body, I like my legs the best. I'm on the skinny side. I recently tried on one of CarlyAnn's bra's and like how it looked. That was different considering I've NEVER been into boobs. Much to my spouses dismay. She has a nice body with boobs to match. Just never been into them much. I have always been a leg man/girl.
CarlyAnn has to teach me the whole make-up thing.

I probably am way out but think I can work my canvas but first the weight must go and that has not been easy. When in the Army running 25 miles a week I was 150 at 5.11 now I am still 5.11 but just over 200.

The wife and I are dieting but vacation last week blew anything I lost.

I like my legs and feet, I made an anklet out of my wifes broken necklace and that helped too. You cant seem to find an anklet to fit an 11.5 inch ankle.
I wear it always.
I have been out for over a year already WOW!

I know a girl on ebay who will make jewelry any size you want, custom or otherwise. I don't know if I can post it here????
I seem to have a habit of posting sites when I am not supposed to.

I'll private message Virginia and if she gives me the okay, post it.

Sounds good

I learned how to solder silver and was able to get parts cheaply to make new jewelry out of her broken stuff that I gave her as gifts so it has more personnel value.

For future use please add.

Even Fem sites don't offer anklets to fit men! I have mine though :P

Well I was not going to post, but I will say this, to quote one wag, "It ain't braggin if you can do it!" That being said, I have learned to dress to hide Virginia's alter-ego and look pretty good doing it!

Power lifting on a world class level will do things both good and bad to your body, so I go to Goodwill and buy things and if they don't work, I'm only out $4.00 or $5.00. Like I have found that "frilly" blouses do not work well as they make my chest look really big and that is one area that most of us would not want to draw attention to. Guys have this built in radar and when they see a set of "DD's" or even "DDD's" all the bells and whistles seem to go off in their heads! Having your breast arrive somewhere 15 seconds before you do is really not a good thing!

Just remember what some of our sisters have said above, and what I "preach." First, "how bad do you want it?" and it's "diet and exercise!"

Just remember the four thngs:
1. A properly fitted wig.
2. A properly fitted bra.
3. Proper foundation = make-up.
4. A nice, sincere smile.

Keep the faith, girls,

Virginia

I too have done the Good Will trip on others recommendation. I was a little uncomfortable at first. I felt out of place at first. My savior was my wife, I could look at womens close as though I was looking for her. We found many cute outfits cheap! I filled my closet quick and cheap. If something looks bad or does not fit I am out minimal dollars.

I will Good Will again for sure!
