I'm with carolynn on this one. Keep your head down like you would in a trench.Carolynn wrote:OK, I just read your prior post. As long as you are in the military, keep your mouth shut and your head down. It's not a good place to be and be a CD. You may actually be able to trust your suite mate, but can you trust his drinking buddies when his IQ is superceded by his alcohol level and he blabs about you?
Put your thinking cap on, girl. Say nothing and stay smart until you can get out safely at the end of your hitch.
Coming out to suitemate

Robyn, ask yourself, What happens if they do an early wake-up call for a health and welfare inspection for drugs and other banned items on morning and you are sleeping in your sexiest bra and panties when they barge in, or what if your suite mate comes in drunker than a fish in a beer barrel one night and finds you that way? Not worth the risk! Don't ask, Don't tell! I was privy once to a health and weal fair inspection once wile in school(AIT)at Walter Reed AMC .
I was in my girlfriends room as we were coed barracks. The rooms has joining bathrooms so this girl next door busts in and grabs me (its about 2 AM ) and pushes me into the tub. Moments later the MP's are walking threw and I am in the tub standing there crapping my pants as the Military Working Dog is sniffing around the bathroom.
Many people got busted that night and to this day I do not know how I was not seen and got away scott free. After the dog handler and dog left the room I slipped into my room and got inspected. I WAS SOOOO LUCKY that night!!!

Just to update everyone.
I still haven't told him and I'm not going to. Been cautionous lately now that I work nights so I really can't sleep in my stuff as much as I could when I worked days.
Haven't had any close calls, haven't had any inspections. They really don't do inspections like they did in tech school. I just can't wait to get back to the states and get my own apartment.
And thank you all again for the 'slap in the face' for what I was thinking.

Just another update, I have since moved rooms and rarely keep in contact with my suitemate. But when I was in that mind set to tell him, awhile back. I came really close to doing it but backed out, I had a little to drink and told him I had to tell him something, but stopped myself. He didn't mention anything bout what I wanted to tell him, I used the excuse that I was drunk and really dont' know what I was talking about.
There are a couple of lesbians I work with. I have thought about talking to them bout me cding and being Bi but figured I shouldn't.

Don't do it! Keep your mouth shut and take no chances until you get out. Don't tell anyone. There is no such thing as a secret. Word will get out and and your life will be hell.
Keep your activities off base(post) and away from where you may be recognized. I really understand and know what you are going thru but it's not worth the problems that arise if you are outed.
I believe I was a lesbian in my past life
