My inspirations

Post by DawnMarieH »

I have my inspirations and the have been so great to me.First are my mom and sister Hayley. They became supportive when I came out 10 years ago and encouraged me not to give up.My sister Hayley says she has a sister,my en femme side that listens to her.My mom says my en femme side is very soft and very feminine. She does call me one of her daughters all the time. Finally my supportive and understanding wife Alex of 2 years, she sees me has a best friend in her life.I am glad to have them in my life.

Congratulations, Dawn!!! =D>

Hope you will stay and share with us and we would invite your Mom, sister and your wife to share with us also.

You will find there are some here who are not near as fortunate as you in having found acceptance within their family and perhaps your Mom and sister and wife could relate to us why they see your "gift" as being so nice!

Welcome and enjoy your part in our sorority!

My wife is very supportive and encouraging in helping me shop for femme things and really enjoys helping me to transform. Our daughter knows but says that I have issues, even though she has enjoyed transforming her boy friends and friends that are boys for years before I came out of the closet to her after she turned 18. But most of my family doesn't know. I have very little to do with them.

My wife is somewhat supportive. Not negative, not positive either. Some days we will shop together (never enfemme) but that is okay. My youngest daughter knows and is very supportive. Outside of that, this forum is number one for support, besides myself. The last year I have become very comfortable with my gift.

I'm looking into a Tri-Ess group right now. It is quite a ways away though so I am unsure if I am going to join. About 2.5 hours away. Not too promising.

My wife has been extremely supportive. I hid Christine for 14 years from her and burst out almost on our 15th wedding anniversary. It went well, she thought I might leave her or peruse other relations. Once she knew for certain I was for her 100% she started piling on the girl stuff and I have a section of my closet full of girl clothes and I know own 5 pairs of heels. 2 Pair we picked up today together.

Life is Good!! She supports my famine side and even went so far as to buy me a purse. I have not yet come out to my 14 year old son. He is at a tender age with hormones and all.

I will update
I have been out for over a year already WOW!

It has only been a few months now that my wife has reversed her image of me and now accepts and supports me as a CD. Since then, she has helped me buy fem clothing, heels, and even has now let me go out with her shopping fully dressed en fem. She even calls me JoAnn when I am dressed. She even went to my Tri-Ess meeting.
Over the last few months, I have gown even more in love with my wife. We have been married for over 25 years and life just continues to get better. Last night she told me that she has not seen me this happy and content in years and she likes the new me. Having to no longer hide my fem side from her has made me a better husband and person.

JoAnn, that is so nice to hear.

I think we find that a lot of SO's that are open minded enough to at least, "give us" a chance" find a positive side to our feminine side! It can be like having a "non-threating" girl friend that is around and to share with.

On the other hand those SO's that throw their hands in the air and go screaming off into the night, really don't know what they are missing.
