Hiya girls long time no see, I have been busy in my "Second Life"
Here goes -

1. I was born and raised in Aberdeen Scotland.
2. I was a very shy boy, resulting in not having any social skills.
3. I got lucky in '75 when I survived a head-on motorcycle crash. Never driven fast since, unless you count 85 on the M40 as fast.
4. I'm addicted to Second Life. I have a huge collection of dresses which I could never have in reality. Plus I meet some really nice guys.
5. I was never any good at English and dont know what a terrible procrastinator is.
6. I'm terrible at remembering names and dates; but I can remember long sequences of numbers, I guess that means I am not dislexic.
7. I wish I was good at something.
8. Got married in 1980, second attempt ~4 months after meeting my gal.
9. I was cautioned once for trying on a dress in a shopping mall.
10. I'm Scots and English by birth, but am firmly a British boy/girl/other.

nice to be back

Interesting the members here who don't know how to drive a car. I guess life in the BIG city is quite different :)

Let's see if I can come up with ten things.

1) I'm retired and loving it!

2) Lived my whole life in Ohio

3) We have 10 horses (down from 23)

4) In the past I have canoed and backpacked, mostly solo.
Now I let a horse do the hardwork :)

5) I used to be a volunteer firefighter/EMT.

6) I like to read, mostly fiction these days although in the past I've learned a lot from reading non fiction. The TV hasn't been turned on in months.

7) Second marriage, first was unhappy for 30+ years. Second marriage is wonderful. I finally got my blood pressure under control after I retired and divorced. I wonder if either of them was responsible?

8 ) I like the outdoors.

9) I have a ham radio license but I'm not active. One of these days I'll get an antenna up again.

10) Both my wife and I have "concealed handgun licenses".

List 10 things no trans related about you

Post by Sally »

1…I was born in Melbourne, Australia, and from all reports I wasn’t expected to survive. There were times during the first half of my life when I thought it would be better if I hadn’t survived.

2. I’m an avid dog lover. I currently have 2 pet female house dogs, an 11year old Pomeranian and the sweetest little 4 year old Maltese you ever did see. Dogs always love you no matter what.

4. Music is a very huge part of my life, I play the guitar and harmonica. My favourite types of music are Country, Rock and ballads from the 50’s and 60’s, and the music from the 1920’s Charleston days.

5. I love to go fishing, both salt water and freshwater.

6. I love Chinese and Asian food, and I consider myself above average in cooking that style of food.

7. I love antiques and am a constant visitor to antique sales, and I love garage and boot sales because that’s where at times you can find hidden treasures and bargains of collectables, if you know what you’re looking at.

8. I’m a chiropractor by profession and I have a keen interest in what may be termed as alternative medicines. I do lots of research on methods and extracts used by ancient tribes and their old methods handed down through the ages.

9. I’m a very keen vegetable gardener and I specialize in growing old heirloom varieties and I very rarely ever plant hybrids.

10. I love old movies from the 1940’s and 1950’s.

Kind Regards,

Sally.

Jennifer.. I love Godzilla movies also (and Mothra and the turtle..oh and Rodan). A fave is Godzilla 2000...very funny and tongue in cheek. Also a huge Mustang fan (67-71). Flying isn't that bad, its the short, noisy landings that wreck your day.

Ten things... I'm forced to think about myself a bit.

I love winter and dislike summer. Rather wear a coat than be hot.

I'm a San Diego native but find the beach much too crowded.

I love football. Not to be mistaken for throwball! Liverpool supporter!

I haven't lived in a town in almost twenty years. I like it out in the hills (or mountains) where I can hear myself think.

Currently shopping for a motorcycle. Husqvarna is top of the list, supermoto style.

I was a catcher through high school and college, and loved every minute.

Favorite movie is West Side Story

I can't remember names but I'm killer on work related details.

I don't like spam.

I try to be polite to every one, always. I never say "huh?"

I'm not afraid of flying but I HATE airports! Since I retired the week before 9/11, I haven't needed to go near one!
I love photography but I am not very good at it yet
I used to be heavily into photography and darkroom work as a hobby that finally paid for itself: I did wedding photography for several years. I was also the fire department arson photographer.
I have been to the largest twine ball in Minnesota.
Are you sure they weren't stringing you along? (Sorry, I couldn't resist, the devil made me do it :) )
I love to fish but I feel bad for them when I catch them.
I understand.

This one will be worth ten

Ok Ladies
Since you all are baring your souls,I'll give you one that's hard to top. This is not easy for me to reveal and I pay Mini $100 bucks a week to keep her mouth shut to this day.
When my daughter Katie was ready to be born I took Mini to the hospital. After a couple of hours it was game time. We go into the birthing room and I was really not prepared for the events that unfolded.
Not only was having a baby quite unsanitary, but also very messy with things I didn't want to see nor could identify. The next thing I remember is being wheeled out with a cold washcloth on my head and all the nurses laughing. I must of dozed off for bit ladies. "When the going gets tough the tough get going." Talk about humiliation!Hugs.
