How can you POSSIBLY be comfortable in THAT?

A 'round table' for CDs, TGs and GG/SOs to talk with each other. We're all in this together, so let's make the most of it.

I am fine with heels, I wear my 4" spiked heel boots all day long, no probs, but I don't know how Ed can wear a strappy satin nightie in bed all night, they get all twisted...really uncomfy!
Julie, I have struggled with that thought, that it is the clothes that comfort/excite my hubby, but with the help of some lovely people on here (and of course, my husband), I am no longer troubled by those thoughts. I know that they are important to him, and play a role in exciting him, but I also know that my huband chose to be married to me, has a relationship with me, and I no longer feel threatened by his CDing. (at the moment!)
The solution, I think, is lots of reassurance and love from our partners :)

I agree with Sharon on the issue of everyone having different likes and dislikes .
As partners and spouses I believe we (both CD's and GG's ) should just remember to be understanding and respectful of each other's differences.

I don't understand why anyone would want to wear those things either. At the end of the day those would be the first things to come off
don't get me wrong, I love to wear high heels! :) (I'm only 4'10' :) ) So, I usually wear some sort of a heel everyday. but not the ones over 5"... too hard to walk in all day and my feet hurt in them too. :x
and the pantyhose...UGH! to me they are so itchy, when I used to have to wear them for work (business attire) I couldn't wait to get home to get them off. In the summer, I usually try to get my legs tan, so that I can go without the pantyhose. :)
I do like to dress very feminine, I wear dresses and skirt often, I always did. I also do wear bustiers and garter belts, but only when we are being intimate  I couldn't wear those all day. But, now I'm finding the older I get the more comfortable (still being very feminine though) clothes is what I want to wear sometimes.
But that's just me.....and everyone is different :)
As for the clothing "exciting " my Dh. Well, we have been working on that one this past week. My Dh tries to reassure me all the time. I think that it will just take time and communication. Lately, for right now, it has been just us. No clothes involved, for either of us. Don't worry, only in our private/intimate time  Which has been just as, if not more passionate for both of us, since our new found closeness. We agreed to work the clothing in again slowly. I think that I went into overload the first time around. I think that it was all too much too soon for me. Well just have to keep working at it.
I would like to know how others have dealt with this also

Hi,

I do my best not to wear shoes that are over 4" and prefer 3".

If you take a look at lots of the famous websites that cater to the transgendered community the choices aren't that great.

I had finally found more shoes out there, that I like and they are affordable. :)

I know starting out that I couldn't order shoes that didn't have spiked heels, so I went shoe-less for quite a while.

I love this site. :) I try to say it at least once a day.

Hi Beauty and the rest of the Ladies present,
With over fifty years of dressing, I guess I have run the gamit of different desires. There was one time when I felt all the tight and restricting clothes were the things that made me really feminie. I loved waist nippers which made my waist real small and paired them with full crinolins. Oh, how feminine could you get? Then, times changed. The waist got too big to successfully nip. Tight clothes proved uncomfotable. Loose skirts and sweaters, tee shirts and shorts became the clothes of choice. My understanding of how a GG feels dawned and my dressing closely follows these feelings. I still feel feminine and sure am a lot more comfortable doing it!
Once again, thanks for letting me express my feelings and, Beauty, I agreee with you. This site is great - I loved it, too.

I dress enfem every day although I when I go out side any feminine clothes that I choose to wear are not seen. Most of the time I dress very simply, like today just panties and a night gown. often it is a dress, bra, and panties.
I have tight restricting clothes as well and enjoy wearing them at times. One of the things I like so much about women's clothes is that there is such a wide range of choices that I never become tied of them, like I do with my male clothes.

keeping it interesting.

I have a huge collection of all kinds of female clothing and my wardrobe must be 3 times larger than my girlfriend´s. She never wears garterbelts or a corset. She puts on a pantyhose, if the weather is cold or if she´s going to wear a skirt. Maybe the difference is that we enjoy wearing female clothes in a way, genetic girls never can. :)
