Its time to go......MERINDA!

Hi ladies ,

Well the writing has been on the wall for some time now , the show is to be axed due to poor ratings. I will be shortly packing my gear away and placing it out of sight for a long period , my recent attempts to change the formula have failed and my disinterest has seriously increased over the last few months.

I came out to my family in 2003
I first ventured out in public in 2004
I peaked in 2005 mixing many public and social outings
I decended somewhat in 2006 with reduced outings
I had my last social event in April 2007 and lost interest further
I changed formula in 2008 but the novelty wore off quickly

I feel that I have overstayed my time with nothing much more to contribute to the cause , my posting frequency has dropped off dramatically over time because I have had nothing other than small scraps to bring to the table .

Now! , having said all that , I may make a comeback sometime in the future , I never say never.

At the moment I wish to thank everyone who has shown me friendship and support over the years , Im sure I wouldn't have lasted this long if it weren't for the many people who have shared my journey .

Well thats about it folks , when this topic falls away and slides down the page as old news I will logout.

Goodbye for now, Merinda. You've always been very methodical about your dressing, and if it doesn't meet your needs, then you're moving on.

But please come to that big bash we're going to have in 2012, when the forum takes its rotating get-together to Australia! (Or since it will be in San Francisco in 2011, and you can come there!)

Seriously, Merinda, it is good to know you, and just because you're not posting for long periods doesn't take away from that.

While I have read everypost with awe, I am sad that you won't be visiting with us anymore. At least visit with us ocassionally and comment on what ever grabs your fancy.
As I have experienced, you will be back, with a vengence.

Hi Merinda,

We have had several candles burning in the window for several of our girls and a few have returned so we will place one for you.

Ours is not an easy lot!!!! There is definitely and ebb and flow to the, can I use the term "desire?" I think we know there is no "carved in stone" answers for any of us and there is definitely no warranty or master copy of what to do. We each have to live with ourselves and even with various ranges of support, we still have the ultimate decision. You know how I feel, I think we are special, we have a gift and we have to right to express it however we choose or to put it away if we choose.

We wish you are the good things and we will be here for you if Merinda decides she "needs some fresh air!"

Hey there, Merinda.

Thanks for letting us know what's up with you. I'm glad you're not simply purging but, rather, doing the wise thing and storing your digs out of sight. "Merinda" is not only a part of you; "Merinda" is who you are. Sometimes, who we really are has to lay low for a while, for whatever reasons. As you say, "never say never."

I'll be on the lookout for news from you in the future. It's a pleasure to have walked a small part of your journey with you. May you fare well!

Merinda, by for now and happy trails to you. We each have our own lives and they take their own paths and directions. CDing like everything in our lives changes over time. I loved to read your posts and your input into the forum. I am glad that you realize that your CDing has only diminished and may return some day. I wish you a good life as you go forward. And if our paths shall cross again I will see a friend with with lots to talk about.
