For about year I kept my self pretty well shaved, chest, arms, and legs. Now I just shave my legs, they itch less as it starts to grow in and there is far less daily stubble to contend with. My wife would tell the kids daddy has legs smother than mine. As for being seen in public tell them you swim or bike.

I keep my whole body shaved. The arms and hands are the only parts people can see.
I have to get IV treatments every month, so I tell people I shave my arms and hands because of that.(I got tired of the medical tape hurting.)
The nurses and doctors have told me its easier to work with me now that I am hairless.

Hi girls
I’ve just had a great idea. My wife does NOT want me to shave my legs so what I’m planning to do is every day I’m going to pull out one hair, so that means 365 hairs will go missing in the next year and if I don’t do it all in the same place each time I reckon that it will go un-noticed. If the next year I do the same on the other leg and then alternate it year on year from now on, my legs will suddenly be lovely and smooth and nothing will be said about it as the hair loss can be explained as natural wastage.
Can’t wait to get home and sneak off to the bathroom with the tweezers, what shall I do first left or right leg?

There are three ways of yanking hair out, and there is a random chance of which it will be. Sometimes the hair is not even pulled out, but breaks off at or below the skin line. In which case, it will grow back exactly as it would had you cut it off by shaving.
Sometimes the entire hair will be removed, but leave the root and follicle behind. Regrowth is slower and the hair may return finer than before. The root becomes weakened, so that subsequent epilation is easier and less painful. Unfortunately, the chances of an ingrown hair are increased.
Ideally, the entire follicle is pulled out. That hair will not return. The heavier the hair, the more likely the follicle will survive.

Shaving, sometimes Veet, and facial laser are pretty much all for me. Once you get the legs and chest under control, they're sorta easy to control with minimal maintentance. Laser is WAY too expensive (for me) for those areas, so I just have it done on my neck and face. For those...ummm...errrr...sensitive areas, I use the BodyGroom by Norelco. It works so great and is gentle, even bought one for my SO who loves it. Can get it at Target and other places. http://www.shaveeverywhere.com/
go under the video to the right and click on "body". I'm always amused that Philips/Norelco has a sense of humor

I was never very hairy, but felt that to be feminine I needed to remove what little I had in certain areas. I shaved all three of my chest hairs off a long time ago and keep then shaved. My wife noticed but hasn't said much. She did say she missed them.
I also shave the back of my hands regularly and try to keep them smooth. My daughter noticed a couple of years ago and asked me if I shaved them. Don't remember my response.
I don't shave my arms. However, I've noticed that a lot of women have hairy arms. My wife's arm hairs are longer than mine. I usually wear long sleeves when en femme to cover my arms. Have thought about shaving them to have smoother arms.
I periodically shave both legs and underarms. I'm sure my wife has noticed, but she hasn't said anything. Have occasionally used NAIR or VEET on the legs, but not very often. They even have a NAIR for men that I tried once.
Love,
Alana

Meh, if someone asks me I just tell 'em I shave. If there's any follow up, my standard response is "because I want to." Usually that satisfies their curiosity.
Some others have mentioned the BodyGroom. I have one that I use on certain areas. I prefer the closeness of a blade though for the most part. I only use a blade on my face, legs, hands, and for grabbing those little hairs that pop up on the tops of my feet. Other areas are generally BodyGroom territory.
To me, Nair fails due to the fact that 1) you really have to plaster the stuff on and 2) it smells terrible. If you don't mind either of those though it does work nicely.
