Sadly, I decided to go with a V for Vendetta costume instead of going out enfemme.

I guess my anarchist tendencies overlay my love of all things feminine. Probably because I hate the fact that that anti-EverythingICareFor Harper is going to be prime minister again.

Today I had my usual lunch at our church with my wife and the knitting/crochet/craft group. I'm the lone GM since a member's husband passed away this spring.

All of the members are GGs the same age or mostly older than my wife and I except the pastor (early 40s).

They plan to have their Halloween party during the day before Halloween and the pastor suggested that I attend as a Red Hat Society lady.

So, I'll add that to my list. I should be able to pick up a red hat and feather boa at a dollar store - I have the purple dress.

I saw some really cute sailor moon outfits- so many choices for us girls.
Just starting to explore my feminine nature- am very shy meek and demure. Addicted to looking and acting ladylike. Still have so many questions about exactly who I am- have so many mixed emotions about my gender issues.

I just wanted to share this adorable Mary Poppins costume, though I don't think I'll be wearing it to the party this year.

For what it's worth, I'm wearing this dress to a Halloween party this year, along with a small veil and a wedding bouquet. So it will be quite an endurance test to see if I can get through the evening ( it's itchy ). It has tiny buttons up the back, and I will need help getting into it ( from my make-up lady ), and I intend to ask the woman running the party to help me take it off at the end of the evening. Here are some pictures:

I wasn't sure that I was even going to be able to go out this year, due to various circumstances. Looks like I will after all. Due to a shortage of cash this season, I think I'm going to jazz up and outfit I wore to Purgatory last year with some new accessories, including some of those wings from Hot Topic, and go out as someone's Fairy Gothmother. I don't know of anything going on in this neck of the woods, so I'll probably trek out to Rainbow Cactus at the Beach.

From the begining my wife knew I wore lingerie under my reg. clothes. The year my wife found out that I liked to crossdress compleatly , she dressed me up as a hooker and she was a pimp on Haloween.. We went to a party at a local bar. We realy had a lot of fun.
Every sence then , It has become a tridition for us to dress up and go somewhere on Haloween.
This year we are going to a local Casino that is haveing a costume contest.
She is going as a sexy Little Red Ridding Hood.
I am going as Cleopatra.

Pam,A co-worker of mine, invited to her Halloween party. Pam wants me to to be a Serving Wench- she's offered to supply the costume and apply the makeup for me. I tried to pretend indifference but inside i was very excited. Of course I 'm going to let her doll me up. Halloween is a most wonderful time of the year.
Hugs

Its kinda funny, our biggest holiday and I never was Dee for it til last year. We had a major party at a local restaurant, but I didn't wear a costume...just a LBD....and had a wonderful time. This year I've already been to two events...OMG...in costume as a pirate wench. The first was a triess meeting, the second was a costume dance at our GLCC (GLBT center). There was well over 100 at the dance, most in costume and it was soooo much fun. MY SO went as a pirate, so we were quite the pair. And heck, its not even Halloween yet so maybe can get out again. All I can say is ARGHHHHH (thats pirate talk). So enjoy if you get out, enjoy if you can't and just give out candy like I might have to. Buy your fave chocolats and hope the kids leave some for you (yummy)
Happy Halloween all!!!!!!!!

My big day was Thursday the 30th, no boy clothes for me then.

The first party was mid morning thru early afternoon, the church ladies craft club was having their party. My wife is president, and I think our GG pastor (early 40s) is the youngest regular attendee. On a dare from the pastor and one of the other members, I attended as a Red Hat Society lady. I was the hit of the party, and when I walked home (2 blocks) 3 cars honked at me! What a rush!

That evening, the neighborhood kids party was at the church and I got a huge positive reaction when I walked in as Minnie Mouse. There were over 120 attending and several children had their pictures taken with me because They wanted to.

My Halloween was not great we had a low kid turn out I think mostly because it was raining in the SF bay area. The annual party I go to was great had a bunch of great laughs and I even won hottest costume. I posted the pic as promised.

Halloween 2008

Post by Kendra Lynn »

Hello all: Yep, Halloween Week is big for me, as it is for many of us.
"Hippie cheerleader" participated in the DC HIGH HEEL RACE, but had to wear a heavy athlete jacket over "her" cheer outfit-- it was cold and windy that night in DC. There was a huge crowd of onlookers nevertheless-- the HIGH HEEL RACE has become a carnival for the general public.
This year I went to NYC for the big Greenwich Village Halloween parade and dressed as... SUPER CHEERLEADER (regular cheer outfit with a bright red cape and white "go go " boots!) I met SUPERMEN, BATMEN, SUPERGIRLS, WONDER WOMAN, ROBINS (male and female), several other cheerleaders...
Coming back to MD on Saturday, SUPER CHEERLEADER suited up again to fight the forces of evil!! "She" met a horde of zombies who descended on downtown Silver Spring to attend a special showing of the classic NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD at the AFI SILVER THEATER. Met a nice gg zombie after the film.
I may go vote today in a red, white, and navy blue cheer outfit that has a peace sign on the back-- Why not??
I need instructions on how to post photos on this site from I PHOTO. I will not attempt this solo, in case something goes wrong that I cannot correct. I need a tech "therapist" to be here physically to figure out how to do that and then show me what to do. Hopefully it is a simple process.
Best wishes for the Holiday season and election day to everyone!!
Peace-- Kendra Lynn ("hippie cheerleader").
