Im new to all this still dont know what to think.My husband told me about 2 weeks ago about his cd ing.I found this forum to be very helpful in trying to understand but its hard for me.

As far as difficulty in understanding this aspect of your husband, think of it this way, it's just another part of him, that he trusted you enough to tell, and you can do away with one more wall of secrecy in that he felt it needed to come down.

I wouldn't say my wife's totally understanding and supportive, but she tolerates it, and that's good enough for me.

to the forum.

I reckon it can be hard to understand. Heck, some CDs find it hard to understand after dealing with it for 10, 20, 30 years.

As long as one is open to learning, and their CDing SO doesn't push too fast, then things may become clearer.

Lynn, just take things slow and work through them together as a couple. Open communication is very important on both sides. And neither of you will have the answer to all of the questions right away. There is lots of good information here. Take what relates to you at the moment and leave the rest for now. And not all the information here will be relative to your situation or your husband. Each of us CDer is different in what we like and want to do. And what works for one couple will not work for another couple. I applaud you for seeking good information to help you both along the way. If your husband is not here, inviting him also to join may help the both of you work through things.

Again, the best thing is open communication on both sides. If your husband is not opening up and communicating with you please invite him here so we can kick his butt.

Now is not the time for him to clam up.

Nice name as it's the same as my wifes. I know it's hard but my wife told me I am still the same man she married no matter what cloths I am wearing.

I'm glad you decided to join us. You'll find this a very supportive environment here and I'm confident you'll find many of the answers you need as you try and make sense of it all. Not always easy I know, but there are a lot of great folks here you can lean on if you need to.
