What's your daily facial and beauty regime?

Post by Charla »

Just curious - I am putting a lot of time in on a daily basis on keepng up appearances:
- daily skin scrub
- moisturizer twice a day
- pluck eyebrows constantly
- starting to use Veet on legs once every 3-4 days
- cuticle and nail care constantly it seems
- exercise daily (weights, aerobics, or walk 30-45 minutes)

plus the PT for my knee surgery...

What does everyone else do?

Shave face closely
Put Olay Moisturizer on face and neck
Trim & pluck eyebrows
Put eyebrow color on brows (to cover up the white ones LOL)
Put bra and panties on
Get dressed in drab male clothes
Put on Bronze color lipstick.
Goto work.

Shave only daily - face, arms, legs - then lotion on arms and legs.

Daily? I moisturize morning and night with an SPF 15 facial cream, eye cream, and lip balm. I use a light cleanser with a Clarisonic skin cleaning system every night.

Every other day? I shave, and use exfoliating scrubs on my face and body.

Weekly? I do a full facial routine with cleansers, more aggressive exfoliation, mask, tonic, and deep moisturizers.

Then there's hair care, nail care, makeup routines when appropriate, etc. I've thoroughly enjoyed learning how to take care of my skin (but am a little stunned at the cumulative cost of doing so!)

Thanks all. For some reason I am not getting alerts when there are responses to my posts....guess I need to check my profile again!

I use Pernox before I shave to get my skin clean. Twice a week I use a commercial skin peel from Sally Beauty Store. I use Regenerist to keep the skin looking fresh.

I had knee surgery a month ago and they shaved my right knee...so I took the liberty of shaving both legs with the excuse that it just didn't look right to have one partially shaved....my wife noticed but didn't make a big deal out of it. She even said it looked cute when she was coming up the stairs after me.

I do nothing to my face daily. I shave every other day as my facial hair does not grow very fast.

I shave my neck below the beard line. Every few months I trim my eyebrows a bit.

I started shaving in earnest over the past week - after the knee surgery I did both legs and then found out it felt so comfortable that I really couldn't stop it. I used VEET to remove the hair a personal shaver could not reach and then shaved the rest. The only place I have significant body hair now is on my lower arms - and that may not be long for this world!
