my beginnings
From as early as I can remember (I'm 80), I was fascinated by stockings, and wondered where those lovely seams went. At about age nine, I was rummaging in the attic and pried open an old trunk. It was full of old women's clothing including dreses, girdles, corsets, waist nippers and run stockings (why they were saved I don't know). I somehow managed to put on a wide waist nipper with six industrial strength garters fastening the 8 or ten side hooks; it fit me fairly well. I then pulled on a pair of old stockings and after a lot of experimenting, managed to fasten the garters. I pranced around the attic in seventh heaven. Over time, tried on every gartered garment in the old trunk, put on stockings, and pranced around. I was totally hooked, and still am. I just bought a 12 strap belt from Alexis 4u, and am wearing it with fully fashioned stockings as i write this. They are fabulous.

Angie, your post brings up an old point for me. I know that lots of boys would probably not be interested in the old clothing at all--they'd open and shut the trunk, and that would be it. But what I wonder is: how many boys ever try on women's clothes just out of curiosity or wanting to do something slightly taboo, and then never do it again?
I can only speak for boys, but I know that me and my friends were always experimenting with forbidden things, like cigarettes, dangerous heights, alcohol, and so on. It wouldn't surprise me that even non-CDing boys would be tempted to try
something on, just because they're not supposed to do it.
From the sounds of it on here and other forums, that would be like shooting heroin "just once"--you're either into it, or you're not. I realize that 99.9% of men will never talk about this, even if they did do it. After all, I never once mentioned my teen crossdressing to anyone but girfriends, and that after age 28 or so. A one-time-and-never-again guy will never mention it--what's he got to gain by bringing it up?

I was just so curious about Mom's clothing, just couldn't resist the temptation to try on some of her things- panty's, pantygirdle, bra- stuff it with tissue papers and put on one her old dresses. I'm sure she knew waht i was doing. She did help dress for Halloween a couple of time but she finally put her foot down when i was 16. "Your getting too old to be a girl".
Just starting to explore my feminine nature- am very shy meek and demure. Addicted to looking and acting ladylike. Still have so many questions about exactly who I am- have so many mixed emotions about my gender issues.
