So What did You get for Christmas

My mom got me a PS3 and the Rock Band 1 bundle for acing Microbiology last semester (only one class left to take and I can petition for my school's nursing program). My dad got me money, which I used to buy a semi casual blazer that I had my eye on.

Well, lets see. First of all my s/o and I don't really get each other anything for xmas as we get so much for each other during the year, and the fact that we have many others to get gifts for. Yes, we do get each other a nice card or two but other then that............. Anyway, I was a bit surprised at what she did do for me though. We have a large house and a rather huge walk in closet in the master bed room. Lots of hang up space and many shelves. Xmas eve when I got home from work I went to change clothes and one of the shelves on my side was all decorated in a pink theme. All pink accessories, comb, brush, nail polish, powder, mirror, perfume, etc,etc. Of course I was surprised. She said that she wanted to do something special for me with out it being a bought gift. I told her I was surprised and I love it and the thought. She reminded me that not to worry if anyone seen it. They would just assume it was her's. Since then, she is wanting to set up one of the spare bebrooms as Diana's. She said it would be ok, as she would do one of the rooms in a fem theme and the other in a unisex theme. Anyway, I'm getting into other areas other the original post. So that's what I got.

Erin it was The Cat's Pajamas. It's very good. Not much SF, just all that other stuff he used to write. A very touching story about his cleaning lady when he was a kid is in there.

Absaroka, I haven't read The Cat's Pajamas. Must put it on the short list. Fahrenheit 451 is still a great read, and spooky when you consider it was written in 1950.

The film of Fahrenheit 451 (1966) with the gorgeous Julie Christie is in my SF film vault. a classic, partly filmed in Chateauneuf in France so they could have a 'futuristic' monorail in the story, not really complimented by the 'cheap' fire engine used to burn the books

I guess add me to the naughty list also.

But I did pick up some after Christmas things for my femme self at some good after Christmas clearance prices.

I got a beautiful pleated knee-length tweed skirt from my sister, and a nice bra, panties, and half-slip set from my GGfriend Fiona. None of this "aftershave" nonsense, they know the kind of thing this girl likes!

Step right up Kay and join Kimberly and me. I also don't know what I did,, well, actually I do know, but there are so many naughty things that I did, I just don't know which one took me off of Santa's list.
