Homemade breastforms

Post by Willie W »

Does anyone use homemade breastforms? If so, what do you use? I've tried the ol' waterfilled balloons but they don't seem to have the right shape. I'm currently using knee high stockings filled with rice. They look good but are too hard to the touch. I bought some geen slime (the stuff they dump on kids on TV), but it's so thick I can't get it it into the balloons. I need to find a way to inject it.
Anyway, I'm fishing for new ideas. I do have some silicone inserts I found at Walmart but they only create an A cup. I know I should get some real full forms but I can"t afford it.

Maybe try using a pastry bag like cooks use to frost cakes and squeeze the green stuff into the balloons. Also it has been said many times before, check ebay maybe you can get a used pair of forms at not to high a price.

Willie, if you do a search, there's quite a few threads in the archives on this type of thing.
Many of us have tried making our own forms. What I got from it was this:
Try as much as you'd like, but the best way to have natural looking breasts are to just suck it up and buy a pair of real Forms. I personally have tried many things, including water balloons and rice bags. I played with silicone and gels, but none of my attempts have come close to a real pair of Breast-forms. After spending an equivalent amount of money on wasted concoctions, I bought mine from the Breastform Store online. They were very professional and discreet. I've had them for about 3 years now and they still work fine. I take good care of them and hopefully they'll last several more years.

Good luck in your endeavors. If you find an easy solution, please let us know. I'd love to see a low cost alternative.

Hugs,
Kyra

My first pair were made from soft seat cushion foam. And I still use them. Knife and scissors were used to shape them.

Willie.
If you can afford to spend about $60.00 for a good pair of breast forms check out Truekare.com. The have a good selection of forms, some with adhesive backings ( which I have ) that look real and enhance your figure.

Willie--
Using old pantyhose and birdseed is the cheapest I know of. Unlike rice, birdseed does not feel hard. I also bought a pair of enhancers, and the combination of them and a birdseed bag behind each one worked great.

I just pour the birdseed into an old stocking leg, weight it on a postal scale to balance the two, and cut and tie it up. Now I have a pair of breaststore forms that I got from a TG friend who filled out and no longer needed them, but birdseed did right by me for many years.

I have tried several selfmade breastforms. At the end I preferred to place one condom into another one (so you get more stability and security) and fill them with water. Don't fill them too much and it is really hard to get a piar of equal sized breastforms. Even in a tight bra they do not look that perfect, but the feeling of wearing them is quite ok. I have read somewhere, that adding gelantine or something similar improves them a lot - but I never tried that. I stopped with selfmade breastforms at the day I got my Amoena forms. They are worth the money. Anyway - selfmade forms are very helpful for finding the best size. The breasts should look realistic...

I used birdseed for years. Then I got a $30 set of little forms (at a sexy lingerie store, which is a good place to check these things out, who do you think the guys in those places are shopping for?) which make me about an A. Which is fine, I don't mind being sort of flatchested. They feel a lot better than the birdseed. Once in a while with certain bras I combine them with a pair of JC Penney water inserts.

Some day I'll probably splurge and get a pair of Truekares. Their 2nds are pretty cheap.

Homemade breastforms

A tube of silicone sealer from H-D will make two forms. Draw a circle on cardboard similiar to notebook thickness. With scissors, cut a radius line. Fold over the cardboard and staple it so point is about 2 inches higher than edges. With a calking gun, pour in the silicone sealer from the tube, and let sit overnight. This should make you about a good "C" cup, and heavy at that. The tube and gun should run you about $10.00.

Cardboard could also be shaped slightly oval to end up with a form that would fit a bra better. It worked for me.

At present, I'm still using home made breast forms and my(SO) says they look real natural.
What i did was purchased several large latex ballons and filled them with water. I used the swag method to determined the size I wanted. I made several over the years so I kind of know how large to fill them.
The big secret is not to use regular baloons but go to a party store that specializes in large ballons 36" to be exact.
You can purchase them in colors to match outfits, ex. I have an off white pair I wear mostly and a black pair that I wear with evening gowns.
I even have a gold pair that i use for some outfits.
These 36" ballons feel natural when worn. Plus they jiggle and bounce when you walk and if attention is what you want try running with them.

Another secret is to fill slowly and squeeze the air out before tying the knot. Also I use the knot to represent my nipples in thin outfits. I would however like to move up to real breast forms.

Tammy, I think balloons work well also. I love the weight and movement they have. But I have learned that I had to put them within hosiery to keep them from breaking on me. Other wise at the end of my night I would get a sudden wet rush. I usually use knee highs. It seemed to be just enough to help protect them.

Kimberly: I have had an occasion where it got damp also, but that was when I used regular balloons. They did not have the right shape and you had to fill them too tight . The 36" balloons are thicker and because they are larger you do not stress them with too much water. I have done the same however with the hoisery, but just to keep from sweating.
I've used the 36" balloons for years and have not bursted any. I also sleep in them which I believe is a good test of endurance. Hope to purchase real breastforms soon and I hope I can still wear them to bed.

Well, I tried the "slime" filled balloons, but that didn't work. I just made up a couple of birdseed filled stockings and I have a pair of silicone enhancers with a Nu Bra stuck over them. They work well but there's no nipple projection.
I think you're all right, I just need to get some real forms as soon as I can afford it.

This morning I stuffed my bra with a couple of net shower scrunchies. Worked very well.

Donna,
What a great idea. I have two sets of breast forms, but the shower scrunchies sound great. I will have to try them tonight. Thanks.
Hugs,
Diana
