A New Chapter

Post by MissSophie »

Hi Ladies!
Sorry i haven't been on in a while but after i got my first breast forms I just noticed that my life need to change and that this was the time to do it. I drove back to my home town and talked to my mom and sister, sister first, and they both took its 100 times better than i ever could of imagined, they had a lot of questions but eventually they told me that they'd love me no matter what i wanted to look like. since that talk i've decided to become a full time women since that day i haven't stepped foot out of my apartment without my breast forms, i've started dressing in all my girly clothes and i've started researching hormone therapy and breasts implants, and recently legally changed my name to sophie. I'm super excited that i've decided to change my life for the better, and know that theres no possible way i could of done it with out hearing what you've all posted on this forum, and of course without the support of my family.   I'll keep all you lovelys updated as things progress

Good for you Sophie,, happiness is what we all seek, looks like you found it.

Just one word of caution, don't go too fast at things, there's always time to think things through, don't run on emotions, things can get difficult if one goes too fast. Anyway, good for you, enjoy life.

At the risk of sounding cliche'd, I'd like to respond with a hearty "you go, girl!"

Keep us updated.

I would have to concur with Amelie, take it slow. Stop every once in a while and look over your shoulder to see where you have come from then think about where you want to go.

I am so happy that your family has accepted Sophie. That sure makes things a lot easier as you continue. Just do the research into each step you take from here.

Please tell us about your journey.

Love,

Virginia

Congratulations Sophie. You're on your way girl! However, I too have to echo caution as you go, just to ensure you don't lose your way in haste. Make sure too that you're emotionally in sync with where you're going and I'm sure that path will be easier to follow.

Best of luck!

Sophie:
Caution is the word of choice. Having the support of the family is very important.
Happiness is a moment in time that changes on a daily basis.
As Virginia stated,
Stop and look over your shoulder once in a while

Hi Sophie,

Congratulations on affirming the direction your life is taking. There's a certain relief that comes from making a decision you've known all along to be true. I wish you well on your journey.

I have only one thing to voice an opinion on, and that is the use of hormones. Please be very careful and do so only under the direction of a physician. While it's true that HRT can be costly, it's always best to go with what's been tried and proven. I've heard enough horror stories of people using substandard "discount pharmaceuticals" with dire results. Be safe, girlfriend.

Hugs,
Kyra
