Have you ever PURGED?

So my question is - Has anyone ever purged their stuff and never again replaced it? Is that even possible? I've purged several times only to lapse and replace it with more. Most responses here indicate gals have also purged many times and always come back.

I would imagine that anyone who has purged and never replaced it would likely not frequent a forum like this one. And Jean Marie is right, it is a gift, once we accept who we are.

I've never purged, I know girls who have. I'm not ashamed of being a CD, why try and change your nature? As I'm always going to dress as a woman I think it would be a crime to get rid of my lovely dresses/skirts etc.

Erin I think you are right, that the folks who purge and stop are not going to be posting here, so this is a skewed sample.

It's accepted wisdom that these desires do not go away and in my case that is true even if the desires sometimes take a vacation all on their own. But again the folks who lose or more likely successfully supress or ignore the desires aren't going to be coming here. For this reason I am suspicious of claims that we will always do this, even though personally I have no desire to stop and think that whether or not we do stop, self acceptance is very important. Self acceptance of my tastes in clohting is the most important thing I have gotten from these forums.
