Hi everyone!
Hello everyone! I'm a new member of the forum, and as I have read some posts until now, I must say that I am very happy to join a forum as serious as this one.
The reason why I've joined this forum is because 5 months ago I have discovered that my boyfriend is a transvestite. It was a huge shock for me and I was very afraid, because I didn't know anything about it.
I would like to share experiences and get some advices. I want to accept him in all his aspects, but I would like to find out something more because I haven't had chance to meet anybody before. I live in a country where TV's are a huge taboo, so I don't have anybody to talk to. My boyfriend is from Germany.
That is all for my introduction:)
I'm looking forward to hear some other experiences and to gain the feeling that I'm not alone, and that I'm normal at the same time.

Welcome Lucia. That's a beautiful name you have there.
I'm glad you were able to find us as you will see we have many wonderful folks here who will be happy to give you all the love and support you need to help you make sense of all this. The main thing is that being transgender is not something to be ashamed of.....for you or your boyfriend.
Don't hesitate to ask any questions of us. You may find more comfort chatting to other SO's and we have a SO's Only section where you can do that. You just need to contact our site Administrator SilverLady and she will give you access.
Being 'normal' is not always what it's cracked up to be, but regardless, you 'll never have to feel afraid as long as you have friends here. I should say this is not always a 'serious' forum as we do like to have fun occasionally. Truth be told, being transgender does require having a good sense of humour sometimes!
Best of luck.

Hello, Lucia. I am glad you are taking an open minded approach. I don't think that being a crossdresser has kept me from being a faithful husband for 30 years, a responsible and loving parent, and a good citizen. In my personal opinion, being in touch with my feminine side has made me a better person. I know it may make you anxious, because it is unusual, but every person on this planet is going to have their secrets.
What is important is not your boyfriend's clothing choices it is his character. How does he treat you? How does he treat others? Does he honor his commitments? If everything is right in these regards, then the dresses just become great, harmless wonderful fun.

I am a vessel of the Goddess. Let me express my calling to a feminine life through nurturing love and relatedness.

Welcome, Lucia, to our group. I am sure you will find our group very supporting. It is good that you found out about your boyfriend now and not later. Later has caused some serioous problems in relationships.
I won't tell my age (as you know a lady never does), but I have great great grand kids. Looking back I feel that I was amn enough to deal with my sons and lady enough to deal with my daughters. My daughters have all stated that it was easier to talk to me about their girl problems than it was their mother.
I was going to write a book, but thought the welcome page probably isn't the place for that.
Welcome
Leeza

Dear all! Thank you very much for such a warm welcome!
I will write about my experiences as often as I can, because I really feel that this forum will be helpful.
