I am a fairly new CD and have a question about false nails.
I would love to have long nails for my occasional outings. I have never used false nails up to this point, but when I look at the packages, even the widest nails in the packages look too narrow to cover the nail on my thumb. Is there some characteristic about fake nails I don't yet know, or do I need to pursue some type of special nails from somewhere on the web?
Also, because my wife is still very unsure about my dressing, I would have to remove them promptly at the motel the following morning. Any suggestions on how to do that best?
Any insights would be greatly appreciated.
Hugs,
LauraK

Hi LauraK,
I just ran across a "temporary" nail polish brand. The ad says that it peels off easily - but they could be lying.
At any rate, I just ordered some and I'll post a comment about it when I get it and try it out.

Just one small drop of glue makes them easier to take off. I have also put on a coat of clear polish on my nails before gluing them on. Makes for easier to get off but take the glue along as you may loose one.

three options that i'd suggest aside from growing your own nails out
1. Wal-Mart sells kits - a couple have self-sticking properties and dont require glue - about 8 bucks
2. Go to a Sally Hansen store or buy on-line - they have professional quality nails in larger sizes too. http://www.sallyhansen.com/
3. Try Talon Tru-tips - also in larger sizes and very TG friendly - i've used them for years with great success. http://www.talon-sd.com/
