Yesterday morning I went to Ocean City, MD. I wore my turquoise skort over a pair of hose and a yellow tank top with lace edging. No forms, wig or makeup.

The lady toll taker on the bay bridge got a smile and had a little extra how are you chat.

Arriving in OC that morning, I decided to take a walk on the beach, and found a nice place to park close by. I had forgot how thick the sand can be, and it got into my shoes quickly. Hose and sand don't mix well.

I heard one lady say to her husband, "Look at that guy," on the boardwalk as I was heading back to the car.

Afterwards I went to the convention center parking lot, slipped on a pair of pants, a different shirt and my Ryka tennis shoes. Then I went into the center to attend the 39th annual Ward World Wildfowl Carving Championships. I didn't enter any carvings, however, just took pictures.

Last time I wore hose on the beach , I looked like a castaway that just walked ashore, tattered and wind blown

Think I will have to try hose on the beach, if I ever find one, so I will know the feeling you girls are talking about.
