Flea problems with your pet
I found something out on the tv the other day about pets, and a way to help you get rid of fleas. Take a new flea collar, cut a piece off of it, and place it in your vacuum cleaner bag. Then, whenever you vacuum up the fleas on the floor, the flea collar inside will kill the fleas. I didn't know this, and am planning on doing this if we have a problem this year.

I suggest treating the pets with Frontline, and treating the carpets and stuff with Zodiac Carpet and Upholstery spray.
If you don't have little kids running around.
The Zodiac Carpet and Upholstery spray contains methoprene in a fast-acting formula that kills fleas, ticks, roaches, ants, earwigs, silverfish, flea eggs, and flea larvae for up to 7 months.

Fleas?
Hi Ladies
Marley is a Jack Russell terrier and the fleas are afraid of him.Carol Ann. There was near miss today. I come back from delivering with Marley and park in the yard. I let him off the leash and we start walking about 15 feet to the back door of the shop.
Behind the shop is a walkway for the Mall. There happens to be a couple walking their Pitbull and Marley takes off like a rocket and runs down the sidewalk and goes right for the dog. The lady had to hold the pitbull back and her husband grabbed Marley and he was struggling to hold Marley back.
I get over to them and apologize and the guy says to me" Your freakin' dog is nuts!" I said" I know!" Marley looks cute but is out of his mind and fearless Carol Ann. He's great with people but hates other dogs and goes right at them. He only weighs 17 lbs!

It's amazing isn't it Carol Ann.
Hi Hon
Jacks are stealth pitbulls. They just go for it and don't listen. Marley would attack a bull if he got the chance. I can't ever let him off the leash if were out for a walk. He can take off faster than a Ferrari and you never know what's going to set him off. People think he's so cute and nice until they see him him in action Carol Ann. Then then say"OMG!"

Out cat Kodos reacts pretty strongly to fleas - if you don't catch the problem in time, she'll chew herself scabby! Kang doesn't respond as violently - I think it's just his natural laziness. But Kodos has always been high maintenance. Both are longhairs, but Kang has a lot of guard hairs. Kodos is almost pure down and so is very prone to hairballs.
My brother has a JR and a dachshund. When I visit, I often take the two for walks around the neighborhood. Zero, the JR, is a fireball, of course. Ginger, the dachshund . . . well, she might as well have chicken wings and drumsticks for legs. A stroll with those two can turn you into Stretch Armstrong.
