Shopping in upstate NY

I will be traveling through upstate NY on my way to Montreal and wondered if anyone had any experience or advice about shopping at either MME Pirie's Famise Corsets in Albany or at the outlets at Lake George. Especially wondering if the corset shop in Albany is OK with male customers.

I haven't been to the corset shop. But have frequented the outlets in LG. Didn't try anything on, but the sales staff seems interested in moving merchandise, so happy shopping. Have fun!!
