resentment

Post by Absaroka »

I've lost a bunch of weight in the last 6 months, about 40 lbs. It is amazing how much more comfortable all my bras are. And I was talking to a friend about wondering how it would feel to be a beautiful woman and she made the comment that I would be an attractive woman because I am thin. She followed it up with her opinion that men are lucky because we don't have to put up with breasts and a vagina. I think she was thinking of mammograms and yeast infections.......

Talk about fitting several societal dysfunctions into a couple of sentences....

But here's my resenment. I have to go shopping. Not only that, I need two new wardrobes, because half my guy clothes don't fit, along with a lot of my girl tops. At least the skirts and dresses are still okay. All my guy jeans are way too big.

On the bright side, last week I bought 4 new teeshirts of various colors and a 6 pack of tightie whities. That takes care of two categories. I'll wait till fall for new flannel shirts and long pants. There is still about 15 lbs to go.

Life is such a pain sometimes.

Undeniable justification for shopping?

Where's the problem?

I just bought a few more belts the last time I needed smaller jeans.

grats on the weight loss, girl.

Hi Absaroka--
That's quite an achievement, those 40 pounds gone. You must be feeling really good about that. Shopping for new guy things is not quite as fun as the opposite, but what the shopping represents will maybe give you some quiet smiles while you're doing it.

Congratulations! =D>

I'm down about 42 lbs, since last August, depending on what day I step on the scales

80 more to go

My skirts fit a lot better. As do some of my guy pants, which had expandable waist lines. So, no need for new clothes yet.

Besides, I still have the clothes I bought when I lost 50 lbs in 2005. Which took no time at all to put back on.
