Wife and the wash

Post by JoAnnDallas »

We always do the wash on Fridays. Today my wife caught me off guard and what she said made bust into laughter. We were sorting out who's items were who's when my wife looks at this one bra and says, "It's scary when you can not tell the difference between your bra and your husbands bra".

I still do most of my own bras. But my wife does a lot of my other femme clothes. She is ok with washing my femme things most of the time, I just have found she deals better not having to deal with the bras. So I stock pile the dirty ones and do them when she is away for a day or so.

Hehe, what a cute story, I can relate. My wife sometimes cannot tell which underwear are hers, and they get placed in the wrong drawers of the dresser.

I don't let my wife wash my under things as she will just put them in the washer.

I hand wash all my things in Woolite.

At our place I do the laundry twice a week. Most of my bras are hand-me-downs from my wife, and I mark a "Z" on the tag. I also mark a "Z" on the back waistband of panties she's given me.

The panties I've purchased aren't a problem; they're much more feminine than hers. And it's easy to recognize the tap-pants she made me many years ago, and that I still wear now and again.

At times I do Rachel's laundry but I do sometimes find my wife's panties in my drawer after she or I put them away.
Probably just senior moments.

We also do the wash all together, in most cases my SO is doing that job.
Just once she was a bit confused and sorted one of my bras to her daughters stuff. Well... her daughter (15yrs old) was surprised, of course and told her, that it is not her bra - but she liked it... I am quite glad, that she didn't want to keep it... lol...

Well guess I need to modify my previous post on this topic. A week back my wife decided she could not handle doing any of my femme laundry any more. Interesting thing is she is the one that said she would do my femme laundry to start with. So now I have a basket for my femme laundry and the rest goes in with the general laundry. Normal changing life in our house hold.

Ouch, Kimberly, I bet that hurts.

I handwash all my bras and nylons, but the panties and all other femme attire, skirts, blouses, etc., go in the washer. My wife is an angel about it, and we *usually* don't get our stuff mixed, though panties do go astray ... I depend very much on her good will and kindness in not drawing the line more firmly.

Good luck and I hope this resistance won't spill over into anything else!

Love, Robyn Katie

Hi all,

Well, I'm the one who usually does the laundry in our home. It all goes in the same hamper but it rarely gets mixed up; Roxanne's a cotton girl and I'm definitely not. As for bras and panties, she always buys the same style and I've come to recognize which are hers; mine tend to run the gamut from heavy long-line support bras and girdles to thin, wispy, delicate, sexy numbers all in sheer lace and nylon. Stuff Roxanne wouldn't be caught dead wearing. As for skirts, slacks, and such, she usually gets her clothes dry-cleaned and I just couldn't be bothered with mine. She takes better care of her clothing than I do. But, then again, she buys it new--and it's usually expensive (by my standards, anyway)--whereas I buy my femme clothing in thrift shops or second-hand stores, so I don't care if it only lasts a year ot two.

Love,
CJ

At our house I do the laundry more often than my loving, supporting wife. Our things go in the washer together and we wash things in cold water.

We don't have a dryer and We hang things on lines and racks in the cellar, where the washer is.

I know whose things belong to who, but we share most things except hosiery and shoes.

OK, I have lived alone for over 10 years, so I don't have any direct experience on which to base this statement. Yet couldn't most of you tell the difference between a bra belonging to a GG and one belonging to a CD just by the smell (AFTER WASHING)?

I had always thought a GG's clothes always smelled of perfume and/or natural pheromones even when they were washed in the same load as my male clothes. Maybe perfumed detergent hides that difference - I never liked the stuff. Maybe I was only imagining because her clothes were so much more magical than mine.

I do our wash, and no, there's no difference in aroma after washing. Not much difference before, as a matter of fact. :P

intresersting and fun reading and something i never thought abut as i am still in the closet, therefore i do not have so problems of who,s is who,s , but if we washed together it would be no problem as my underwear is much much nicer, its willl be easy to see mine a mile off .
