Interesting revelations

Interesting revelations

Post by Dalindra »

My store (electronics one) was recently forced to move from a spot it was located at for 15 years to a newer location in the same center.

It was located in a stand alone location that is now being taken over by a bank to a location between 2 baby stores a Jeny Craig and a TJ Max(clothing store for all but mostly ladies shop there(( I wouldn't dare for femm since my customers would))) anyways I thought it would generate alot of females I could watch for clothing ideas and I was right though not from an angle I had thought.

The baby stores get alot of pregnat girls (duhh) should have saw that coming but I didn't. Not a look I was trying for.

The clothing store gets alot of women of all ages and body types and I have goten alot of good choices there but most are to far away to get a really good look since it is 5 doors down and a good part of the building is on my side from the door.

Oddly enough I get the best fashion looks to watch for clues as to how a lady dresses, walks and does makeup from the Jeny Craig!(a weight loss center).

Ok now you are confused but I do from the patrons as I am a size 1X but also and more important the women that work there. :)

None of the 4 girls that work there are the least bit shall we say large? they are all super good looking ladies and all wear a dress or skirt and heels. Makes sense in a way would you buy weight loss food from a really fat girl? "no the food really works I swear"

Any ways the girls that work there really love the donut shop 4 doors on the other side of my shop (not kidding) and walk by often in both directions. Watching them walk by is great becuase I get to see what they are wearing and makeup to match and how they walk in 2 to 5" heals. Not only informative but good eye candy to boot. :)

Anyways I like it. Today I saw the dark haired one in black 2 1/2 " pumps (scary I can just look and know the heel length now) pink top and black knee lengh pencil skirt. very atractive I could almost do that look just need a pink top to match.

Ohh well glad we had to move for that though sales are way down since we did since people are having trouble finding us I guess.

Ohh hey now I do get work done I swear!

It is just at slow times I like to look at the ladies that walk by for ideas on how they dress as it has helped me to buy some colors that suit my skin type and hair. For example I just bought a sleveless yellow jersy top on ebay (wearing right now) that I saw a lady wear on her way to TJ Max that I really liked(well close enough not exact).

Ok Ok I am a 45 year old with no current SO so I look for other reasons as well, and it is sometimes difficult to look at a good looking lady both ways (as CD wanting dressing tips and possibly a date) so I just look.

I feel I need to add somthing to this

I have noted the amount this has been read and the very few replies.

I started this in an attempt to be funny and nothing else. It has been a difficult move and as the traffic is less it has ment a lowering in hours as well as pay so I did what is typical for me I made a humorous story out of it. This was supposed to be only that but none of you know me(and my warped sense of humor) so it might have gone over in the wrong way and if I offended anyone I do sincerly apologize as that was not how it was intended.

I have an odd sence of humor at times and I took the move and all it exposed me to and made a story out of it that I thought would entertain.
If this came across in a bad way to anyone please accept my deepest regrets.

HI Dalindra,

Please don't concern yourself with the number of readers vs the replies, we do have some folk who visit the site and are not members and can't reply and sometimes it is just a "what can I say?" response.

I am on your side however. We can learn a lot from just "admiring" those that we wish to emulate. I remember seeing a woman in a store that had on the absolutely nicest skirt suit. It was a light tan, with a short skirt, tan jacket and a white blouse and she was about 5'8" and had on tan pumps and what I guess I remember most was how well her outfit fit her.

Anyway, a lot of us wish we could still dress like a 20 year old again, but alas it is not to be (although I try!)

Exactly! For the record, I read every single post made here, on a daily basis, but I don't often respond.

Hi Dalindra,

As for replies - not to worry. I am always here to read everything (except perhaps the very very long stories). As for humor - everything in life can be laughed at. Just consider all the laughs we had back in the Milton Berle days, and Flip Wilson as Genevive. A "guy in a dress" is intrinsically funny and stirs our sense of the ridiculous.

Back as far as I can remember, when I looked at a pretty lady my first admiration was for her clothes, next was how she wore them, and last was a feeling of envy: "I wish I could look like that." I used to think there was something wrong with me, but now I know better. With Virginia, I believe this is part of the "gift".

Keep posting, Dalindra.

Hugs,

Lydia
